Hi, all! I'm on the train. I've been super emotional this week, and have been crying pretty much everyday. (I just went off estrogen, so maybe my hormones are just all over the place...) I feel a little anxious with this time period (no movement, and no appointments). The weekends have also been busy, and I haven't seen any of my friends in awhile, so I think I feel a bit isolated. In laws are coming this weekend, but after that I have a lot of social stuff planned.
Super glad it's Thursday! I'm going to a conference tomorrow, so this is basically like FRIDAY.
I'm going out to lunch with one of the guys I used to work with. He wanted it to be a drinking lunch, so we are headed to a dive bar with really good food! Surprise! No drinks for me. I think I'll tell him. This will be the first person outside my family I've really told, other than my boss who was told out of necessity. I could just say I need to be productive in the afternoon, so it will be a game time decision. However, I am in maternity clothes today, and I feel like I'm rocking a mini bump.

I had a dream last night that we could see and feel this baby already because I was carrying "so far forward." Like we could see the movement in my way lower belly, and I could feel it all the time. It was weird.

I just started a Randoms thread too! I'll go change it to something else!
My post this morning was also about a dream. I had the most amazing sex dream about my current crush, Rami Malek. It was one of those where I tried my hardest to go back to sleep when I woke up.
I'm also excited to see Rami in all his deliciousness on the Emmy red carpet on Sunday.
Morning ladies. I am hoping to be productive today but who knows how that will go. I just have not been able to motivate myself at all lately and I hate how far behind I have gotten on my housework. It is a vicious cycle. I slack off, stuff piles up, i cant get motivated because stuff has piled up so I slack off, and on and on... I was not like this before. It is driving me nuts.

DH wanted to go to breakfast this morning and I ate waaaaay too much. I've got a lot of cramping going on so I'm trying to chug water like its my job but damn I'm full.
My bump is out there and I am so excited. I'm hoping we can work on telling DH's "extra" family this weekend and then we can announce Sunday.

On Tuesday I sent out a to do list to everyone on my project with all the things we need to do and due dates. The to do list basically broke down to 2 items assigned to my boss, 2 items assigned to the IT guy, and 11 items assigned to me. Joy. This morning, I come in to an email from my boss basically reassigning her 2 items to me. Sure, of course, why not. Perhaps I can get a degree in computer science this weekend and do the IT guy's work as well. /sarcasm

13 weeks tomorrow and I've felt movement when I snuggle down for bed for the last several days. If I read somebody else saying this I'd call bullshit. This is my 4th pregnancy, and hopefully 2nd take home baby.

I'm 15 weeks, first time I've been this far along, and I'm pretty sure I've felt movement at least once. I feel like it's too early (especially since I have no previous pregnancies to compare to), but I'm still pretty sure!
Yeah!!!!!
One of my most treasured moments with my husband is him feeling our son kick the first time around 20 weeks. I'll never forget his face. Getting a bit teary just thinking about it.
NT scan went well this morning! Nothing alarming yet...bloodwork won't be back until next week sometime. I had her check between the legs (obviously it's too early still), and there was definitely nothing there so...maybe I'll get another girl? We all are guessing boy but who knows! HB was right around 160 and baby is measuring 4+/- days ahead. Will try to post a u/s pic later today! Happy Thursday everyone!
I'm drained. This morning was our first day of "preschool" at a co-op so I was with her the whole time. It was fun but exhausting taking care of my kid plus helping out with others! I think E loved it though so definitely worth it. I'm hosting a baby shower at our house on Sat for a good friend who already has 2 kids that are quite a bit older. It'll be fun but it's so much work! And her invite list was pretty extensive. A few people didn't bother to RSVP which really irritates me - if they show up I would really like to tell them to go away since they didn't rsvp but I know that's just the angry, crazy pregnant lady talking. I am sad that I won't be able to partake in the mimosa bar though
I weighed 195lbs and she said " OMG, you've gained that much weight already?!"
I mean, I got pregnant at 186lbs I don't think 9 lbs is that much. I'm really tall so that really isn't that heavy for me. She was really short so maybe it sounded like a lot to her IDK.

@priss08 what the hell to any comment at all about the weight? If your doctor is concerned, that's one thing. The nurse should shut up and mark the chart.

I agree. Plus, I've told them I'm really sensitive about it because I'm in the tail end of a 100lb+ weight loss. I plan on going back to loosing the rest after the baby is born but having to gain weight is a mind fuck right now. I now have guilt for no real reason, imo.
@priss08 Definitely for no reason. I'm sure she is kicking herself, but ugh >< Comments like that can make someone with no support or less confidence feel like they suddenly should diet while pregnant. Terrible idea. I was losing weight when I got pregnant this time as well.. so of course, you go from cutting calories to not and you seem to gain really quickly >< I'm hating this weight gain, but I'm trying to ignore it.
Side note.. congratulations! That is awesome weight loss So jealous of the being tall. ^_~

This. The midwife I was seeing during my last pregnancy always had really helpful comments about how I was gaining weight too quickly. She offered suggestions like "don't eat fruit, it has too much sugar," as well as telling me to "drink more water and eat less salt" when my feet and ankles started dramatically swelling during 3rd tri. Bitch didn't even *think* to screen me for preeclampsia. Thank goodness I didn't have it! I'm so glad I'm with a high risk doctor this time around who might actually give a shit about me rather than being all judgy about my food choices and how my body handles pregnancy.
/end rant
Soo this is also a concern with me. I did have pre-e last time and pretty soon if I start gaining weight like crazy then...danger zone. My diet hasn't actually changed that much other than more protein/increased love of mushrooms.

Omg! Don't tell your nurse that I've gained 20! (Ps my OB says I need to gain a minimum of 40 so I'm 1/2 way there)

Bah! You're pregnant with twins Eat while you can. Those two are going to compete for room with your stomach soon enough. I had soo much trouble eating with the twins.
