So there's a nut & dairy allergy in DS' class. We have to provide snacks monthly give or take. Teacher said those kids are prepared with snacks if you don't get any allergy free. I got a box of rice crispy treats. I would assume those are nut free. I'm guessing the dairy allergy depends on what she's allergic to but I think I'm thinking too much about her feeling left out. Majority rules? Maybe they should provide more details on what specific allergy it is. Whatever.

That sucks you can't even bring them in @misspeansmama. Box just says contains milk & soy so the dairy allergy girl will have to sit this one out. Teacher only gave a handful of suggestions but reiterated those two kids get their own snacks when it happens so I guess their allergies aren't too severe.
@yellowwallpaper12 will you keep ds in school when you're done working?
He's going to go on Tuesdays and Thursdays rather than full time. That gives me a couple of days to myself to run errands or do things around the house...or binge Netflix

Gonna see if the school will let me take ds a few minutes early. It's not like they're doing anything the last 15-30min. Got a call that his glasses are ready. Even though they'll be his backup pair, the doc needs to fit them properly.

Crap. I still need to email his teacher to give her a heads up I'm picking him up early early Wednesday. It was the only time available for his physical therapy evaluation.

Omg I am so incredibly tired! And sore. But so tired!
My friends wedding yesterday was such a good time! It was seriously just what I needed. DS was an awesome ring bearer and so much dancing occurred! My whole body aches lol! I'm not so young anymore!
I made it through the teaching day and I have a meeting at DSs school this evening. Planning on relaxing and sleeping early tonight!
namastebiotches most processed foods have some dairy in them. Can you bring refrigerated snacks ? Hummus and veggies might be a good option. If it's shelf stable snacks only, Enjoy Life foods makes great allergen free snacks.
I will also share this here since I talked about my cousin's death last month. His 3rd child was due next month but was born early this weekend. He's in the NICU but mom and baby are doing well. My cousin's wife posted a photo this morning of my youngest cousin holding the baby in the NICU and his 2 older kids on the other side of the glass, meeting their baby brother for the first time. I felt like my heart broke and healed all at once. Such a precious gift for us but I wish my cousin was here too to meet his son.
