The usual running around is in store for me today, except I do have lunch planned with a friend I haven't seen in a long time. Hopefully LO cooperates!

It's a homework kinda day for me. Lots of reading to do for my Wednesday class. Tuesday class is done.
Thinking about starting my registry today since I finally found crib bedding that I liked.
STMs I'm not expecting a shower but want to do the registry anyways. Did you do one through a store or did you just do an Amazon one to keep track of everything you wanted?

Monday is winning today. Our monthly payment to our HOA got lost in the mail, so now they want us to pay a late fee on top of the regular payment. I called customer service to explain the situation, but it was clear from the start that their service rep gave no shits. Thanks for being super unhelpful. Took lo to storytime yoga at the library. He did great until halfway through. He threw a huge fit because he wanted to go pick out books and then tried to run off while I was checking out his books. I yelled for him to stop, he cried. Glad a whole bunch of people I know got to witness that stellar parenting moment. Now he's eating ketchup and cheese for lunch because mashed potatoes are suddenly "icky" and the meatloaf is a toy.

ourcrazynavylife I really liked our Amazon registry. Everything was available for the completion discount, as long as it was sold by Amazon and not a 3rd party seller. At Babies R Us the stroller we wanted was excluded from their completion discount, so we ended up getting a clearance color stroller + the registry discount from Amazon. We got a great deal on it.
ourcrazynavylife, are you doing a neutral theme for nursery? Are you team green?
ashlantic, what a rough way to start off the week. hope your Monday improves! And I totally get you on the toddler pickiness. Each time Leo decides veggies and meat are ok to eat I say a little thanks prayer.

Morning! My Monday started on a bad note. I forgot to set my alarm. I barely made it to work at a reasonable time. Other than that, so far so good. DH even said Leo was happy to walk into DC, even gave his classmate a hug hello.
I did get some good news this weekend. Seems like someone is suing my old company for not paying the accrued time off correctly when an employee is terminated or quits. I think it's called a class action suit. So, the company decided to settle so I get some money back. YES! The sooner the better. That would be such a great help with christmas and Leo's bday party.

littlelion I am absolutely not team green. Haha. Way too OCD for that. We're doing dragons and castles for the nursery. Kelly Green & Aqua with Gray/Purple/Navy accents

ashlantic, sorry for the rough Monday, hope things start to look up! ourcrazynavylife, I did a secret Amazon registry this time around. It helps to keep track, plus I'll get to use the completion discount. Actually, I get to do that as of Wednesday because it's exactly 2 months from my EDD--eek! Btw, I also threw a bunch of Christmas presents for DS and baby onto the registry so I'll get the discount on those too #noshame
Our DCP called today to tell us that she is closing down in 2 weeks (it's an in-home). So now I have to figure out what to do with DS for the next 2 months and also while I'm on leave. Ugh, I had really been counting on leaving him in DC while I stayed home with baby. I think we'll end up asking our part-time sitter if she'd be willing to go full-time with us. I know she had been hoping to do that anyway for the 2 kids when I go back to work next spring so FX she is willing to move up the timeline a bit...
