hannahbear 6 weeks today! I will say my daughter was a terrible napper until 18 months old. Like from 3 months on she took 20-30 naps. But it meant she went to bed at 6:30 pm to 7 am. She was never unpleasant though. Long naps only happened in the car or stroller rides. This time around id like a slightly better napper. But the nighttime sleep was great.

hannahbear - my older two would only catnap until I moved them to 2 naps at 6.5 mo. It was nothing I did. Just them.
These days I have to wake DD2 up from her nap at the 2 hour mark.
Non-napping is rough but rarely forever. Get him sleep for now. When he's older you can address schedule and how.
At 9 weeks I would be playing with waketimes between 1 hour and 1 hour 45 minutes to see if any of those work. Shortest waketime is the first and they might get longer throughout the day.
meagpt22 oh gosh. He is jusssst starting to sleep at night. But getting him to bed is also impossible at night.
gratefulgirl interesting. Maybe I'm trying to make him sleep too often? Maybe I need to stretch it out a little more. Let's see, yes, I guess he is in Wonder Week 8 by due date. I need to look that up!

Every kid varies, but stretching waketimes might help. If it doesn't you can always go back.
