Hi All,
I just posted on pregnancy loss, but had a question specific to conceiving again. I just miscarried (see below for my original post), and because I have PCOS and my cycles are incredibly unpredictable, I wanted to start ovulation tests immediately and test the whole month. In the past, I've gone 6+ months with no period, so I'm just anxious to track everything at this point. Anyway, even though I just miscarried, I already had a positive ovulation test today (and I still have a little bleeding from the miscarriage). I don't know if this is a false LH surge due to the PCOS, hormones due to the miscarriage or if I'm really about to ovulate so soon after the miscarriage but was curious if anyone else has had any experience with this.
Previous post on Pregnancy Loss:
I am brand new here, and am hoping to share and connect a little with others with similar experiences. I found out I was pregnant with what would have been my first child September 10. Then September 16, I started spotting and by the next morning, I was pretty confident I was miscarrying. Had a doctor's appointment today which confirmed that I had miscarried.
We were so early on that I tried really hard not to get too attached and I think on some level I succeeded, but my husband and I were pretty sad anyway. It's hard not to be in a mindset of imagining the future the moment you get the positive test. I keep trying to look on the bright side, and I am grateful that there were no further complications with the miscarriage, but obviously it's been a challenging week of ups and downs. I also have PCOS, which adds to my stress level about getting pregnant again since my periods are very unreliable.
Anyway, thank you for providing this community. It's nice to have a community that focuses on rational thought and support.
