Hello! I know some of you ladies from PAIF. Just wanted to say hi. I'm currently 20w6d with fraternal twins. We are team green
A question for twin mamas- did anyone have placenta previa or a peripheral umbilical insertion? Baby B's placenta has marginal previa and Baby A's has a peripheral umbilical insertion. If you did have either of these issues did you have a C-section? If so, at what week?
I don't have personal experience, but my BFF had placenta previa with her singleton. The placenta can move as your uterus grows, but previa at time of delivery is an automatic c/s. You can't deliver vaginally if the placenta is between the baby and your cervix.
I did have a partial previa with DD. By 32 weeks it has resolved itself. No experience with your other question!
Welcome & congrats on your twins! And I agree with SassyPants150, I couldn't stay team green with a singleton, nevermind with twins! Double kudos to you!
Thanks for the Welcomes and the info ladies! Looking forward to getting to know you all better I was super strong in the Team Green until we got home from our A/S. They gave us a disc with all the pics with a note that said we needed to stop looking after the blue screen because we would see pictures that would clearly tell us the sex. That cd had to go in our safety deposit box!

I had partial previa this pregnancy that resulted in a big bleed at 13 weeks but thankfully, the placenta migrated and it fully resolved. I hope the same will be true for you as well! It is true that if the placenta doesn't move, it is generally an automatic c-section.
began TTC 2009 N&A, our b/g twins born and lost 3/7/12 at 20 weeks due to PPROM N (girl), 6/26/13 E&A (b/g twins), 4/5/15 BFP 3/27/17, EDD 12/3/17 IVF veteran with multiple losses - feel free to ask me about it.

No personal experience with either, but congrats! With placenta previa, unless it moves, it would require a c-section... I have saw a few women on the forums and a blog I follow go through it, I know that it can be scary. Hopefully yours won't cause any issues.
We were team green with our twins The techs knew this, they accidentally gave me a revealing ultrasound photo of baby A though. It was a great photo of her kicking her sister, but it showed very obvious lady parts. I did not share this with family/friends, on here either, because DH didn't know how to read them and said he wanted to stay team green (even though I told him I thought I knew). And hey... maybe I could have been wrong? (although I wasn't). I was a little sad they put it on there, but at the same time it was a great shot to have. I am not good at keeping secrets, but somehow made it.

Lol, good call. With my DS I told my mom but told her not to tell, we were waiting to confirm at anatomy scan... So of course she told other family right away I wouldn't share the disc either.
