Lots of requests for help for twin mamas in crappy situations near me lately. Makes me grateful for my support networks, in person, online, and otherwise
I just had someone outright ask me if my twins are from medical intervention. She meant it in a friendly, curious way, but I was surprised someone would ask so directly. I guess two sets of twins is a bit suspicious.

Scariest words to hear from your u/s tech and OB at 25 weeks- it looks like you could be dilated but it might just be contractions. What?!?! It turns out I am thankfully NOT dilated. These twinkies need to cook a lot longer.
I'm guessing though that I'll be going in weekly, maybe bi-weekly, from this point forward. I'm perfectly ok with that.

I am so grateful for my amazing support system. I don't know how people do this on their own.
L & G turned 3 months yesterday! Hard to believe we made it through the newborn phase.
I think yesterday was the last of our breastfeeding relationship as well. Ever since I went back to work, the kids have seemed less interested in breastfeeding and get really impatient with what little I had to offer them. They just want their bottles, damnit! I was getting less than an ounce pumping anyway, so it was time. I'm still a little sad that I could never give them all the nutrition they needed, but honestly at this point I'm kind of relieved to just be FF rather than nursing them and then "supplementing" with a 4 oz bottle.

We just got our twin zygosity DNA test results and our girls are identical! I really think they look so different (even though I admit that they are looking more and more alike as they grow) and totally doubted that they were identical. I'm glad we did the test to confirm.
