O.M.G. I JUST PASSED 2 stones!!! And one is ginormous!!!! I measured it with a ruler it is one cm!!!! Huge! How on earth did I pass that?! They normally say anything over 6mm won't pass and needs medical intervention.... And holy cow no wonder I have been in such pain! The past 3 days I could feel it like right toward the end but it would not come out. Then I didn't feel it yesterday and was afraid it went back into the bladder... Sorry if any of this is TMI... But i felt it pop out today but it did not come out in the strainer so i reached up inside my lady parts and grabed it with my fingers. Holy cow! And then another tiny 2mm piece came out too!
::happy dance:: those of you who pray please pray that there isn't anymore in there! Thanks! I also will take good vibes or positive energy to that effect lol.

holy crap, so glad it's out! Now, just curious when you have a kidney stone in your urethra, are you still able to pee? Or do you have to wait for it to some out?

Depends on the size of the stone. If it is too big it will block it and the doctors have to come take it out. But the urethra is bigger then the ureter (the tube from kidney to bladder) so generally if it makes it that far it will fit. And honestly the bad pain stops after it gets to the bladder and usually when it does pass it doesn't hurt a lot. You notice it if it is big but it isn't as painful as moving from kidney to bladder. (Though i think it hurts worse on the guys then on us girls.) smaller stones go through the urethera unnoticed which is why they make you strain your urine.
That's bananas! So glad you passed them easily enough. Fx that you're done with that mess!
I wouldn't say it was easy! Lol it hurt like hell. If they had been able to do an x ray they never would have let me try to pass that without breaking it up.
