Yes to all the fall recipes! Last year, during our annual re-watching of all of the HP movies, I made up a pretty good pumpkin pasties recipe. (To my dismay, all the internet recipes interpreted them as sweets, but pasties are usually savory, so I had to make a savory version.)

I also make a crockpot lentil soup that is basically various amounts (what looks good) of green lentils, chicken broth, finely chopped carrots and onion, celery stick for flavoring only, and herbs. We'll have that tonight with rosemary bread. Mm.

I think you might like this if you aren't in to the clove-cinnamon-sugary pie flavor. I don't use honey; granny smith apples, vidalia onion, and celery make it just lightly sweet enough. Because we forgo the honey, I gave a little to Bud and he actually enjoyed it a lot!
