richzep The gated parks are a godsend at that age. The only park near my house wasn't gated and had an unfenced pond right next to the play area. I was regularly having heart attacks when I would take the twins by myself when they were little!
bocaburger Is that a stretchy or non-stretchy wrap?
Stretchy. It's a boba
Do you like the Boba? Are you experienced with baby wearing/wraps? I want to trying baby wearing but the wraps intimidate me! I've been considering the Weego because it looks easier but it's expensive and the twinkies will outgrow it pretty quickly.

I do like it but I have no baby wearing experience and nothing to compare it with. The babies love it, they stop fussing and go to sleep. We also have the Twingo with the infant insert.
Thanks for asking about me richzep! My contractions are getting more intense every day and I'm not getting much sleep. At my appointment this morning I was 2cm and 80% effaced. Both babies are now head-down and are estimated at 11 lbs. combined! It won't be long now.
bocaburger I'm super impressed. I bet the babies love it!! @feegan what is that adorable outfit on that even more adorable face!!! dke2010 keep us posted. We're thinking of you!
richzep, thanks for asking. I had a scary bp episode yesterday where it went up to just under what they said to go in for, so I spent the entire day trying to find the position that moved whichever one it was enough to get it back down. I woke up this morning achy and uncomfortable. 4 more days.

housecarder your girls are so cute! How did they get to be 14 weeks already?!?!
I decided to start with a cheap Boba and will upgrade to a woven if I get the hang of it and like it. I watched some videos on the ring slings but I didn't think wearing 2 looked as comfortable as using a wrap.

I hated my Boba. I think I would have been more successful with a woven. I also did the 2 ring slings- it's comfy for them but really restrictive for Mom.
It never felt really secure to me. It would stretch out from the weight of 2 babies pretty quickly, they were always sliding together, and it was HOT. I wore nothing but a nursing bra under it. In December. In Chicago... And sometimes stood outside for a few minutes to cool down.
To be fair though, I ran crazy hot Pp until I weaned. I still run hot compared to pre pregnancy.

It is hot.
Also I'm glad you said that about running hot PP. I used to always be freezing and since second tri I run much hotter. I expected it to go away when I delivered but it hasn't!

I have a Wrapsody breeze and really like it. It has a little bit of a stretch but not as much as the Moby or Boba. And it's like t shirt material so not as warm. It's a nice "in between" the stretchy wraps and regular wovens. I can tandem wear the twins or wear my 25 pound 20 month old by herself comfortably.
This is the only pic I have right now. But I've found a few new ways to tandem wrap via YouTube videos that I like more than this way.
