I'd just do a test drive to see if there are any weird bumps or lines in advance so you can swap out the under-layers if needed.

Love the boots and dress! I would suggest asking the photographer what type of shots they are planning on taking. I wore a dress to our photos last weekend and may have flashed a few people at the park while trying to get down/up from the ground.
