What's going on ladies? Drinking coffee while DS plays with Legos and S is still sleeping. DH is gone all day with the second part of his 5th interview. Turns out, he was misled a bit about the schedule, and he may not take this job if he gets offered the position. Sigh...
alayne926, essentially a 6 part interview and they gave him false information about the schedule? If they are that interested in him then he should try hard balling a little bit. That is a lot of investment into interviewing. What field does he work in?
Low key weekend here. I'm watching my nephews and niece for a few hours this afternoon. H mentioned wanting to go out for good pizza so I'm hoping that's what's for dinner! Church, football, and yard work tomorrow.
jessila, aviation. They originally told him that he would be working an average of 12 days a month and 6 of those days would be overnight trips away from home. Well, the reality now that he's flying with the pilots, is that the average is more like 19 days a month with the overnight trips being more like 10-12.
I think they needed another pilot so badly that they painted a rosy picture for him initially.
It just sucks because this job is perfect in every other aspect.

I woke up with a super sore back the morning of a run. So bummed out, I don't know what I did but I might have to walk the race. Still not packed for the trip that we leave on tomorrow morning. I need new clothes.

Morning! It's a low key day for us as well, I've already got grocery shopping done and H is out getting his hair cut and heading to Lowes. Hoping he comes back with lunch, and then that we get some more house projects/unpacking done this afternoon.
Hi! This afternoon is one of my good friend's daughter's first birthday party that I mentioned before. I think we'll run up to the city early and fill up a growler of beer and hit up the dollar store for some Halloween crafts and activities for the kids.
There's a football game tonight so we'll watch what we can when we get home then!

DH is at a softball tournament, I just got home from work, and DD is with my mom. It's me, the dog, the delicious Chinese food I picked up, and the remote all to myself!! Binging some DVR shows and baking some pumpkin muffins before everyone gets back home.

Of course A fever comes back on Saturday morning along with a ton of green snot. And the cherry on top was H announcing that he feels sick now too. Really? It's cool but sunny this morning so hopefully we can get some more stuff finished up outside. I can't believe it was actually snowing yesterday morning in September.

We did our race this morning and it was so much fun! I left DH and the girls behind so that I could try for a new personal record. We let them out of the stroller at the finish line so they could run across and it was soooo cute.

I spent the day immersed in produce and chores, and there is no end in sight. I skipped a LLR party with a friend so DH could send time on splitting wood. He spent about 1.5 hrs on it, and quit 20 minutes after my ride left. Naturally, I'm not cooking dinner.
My kids are acting like hellions and I'm out of wine.
I'm spiraling right now. I facetimed with H and DS a few hours ago and asked what they are doing today. H's uncle is taking them up in a small prop plane. Que anxiety attack for my 3 yr old.

They'll be fine!! DH takes DS flying in his small plane quite a bit.

Getting ready to head out to DHs grandmas 91 birthday gathering. Wish me luck since C has refused to eat lunch (and most of breakfast) and it's right in the middle of his nap.

He landed ok. Apparently DS slept through the whole flight
Just got to the airport for a work trip and having some major sads about being away from W until Wednesday night. I don't think we have anybody in Fort Worth from our board, right? I'm not looking forward to this trip one bit.
Hugs girl! As someone that had to travel a lot for work and be away from a LO, I know too well how you feel. Enjoy your time alone: read a book or just relax in bed. You will be home before you know it.
