Hi ladies,
So many emotions as I move over here today. I was going to wait longer, but I think I need a home during these first few days/weeks.
In 12/13 we began TFAS, and we're ecstatic to get our BFP in January. Unfortunately, at 16 weeks, they found no heart beat and I had a d&c the following day. We were told it was rotten luck, and to wait 3 months and TTC again.
we got our BFP again that first cycle, but it was off from the start. I was having spotting and it just didn't feel right. At 6 weeks my body began actively miscarrying. However, it took over 70 days for my betas to drop.
My testing showed a large fibroid in my uterus, which is believed to have been the cause for both of my losses. I took a new med for a month, but decided to go for surgery. I underwent a hysteroscooic myomectomy in December, where the OB couldn't find the fibroid (they attribute this to a month on the med). Hence, the fibroid is shrunk, but still there.
I share the details, as it's going to wreak havoc on my poor PGAL mind, as the fibroid regrows with hormones, which are plentiful during pregnancy. I'm hopeful that my little rainbow can stick it out long enough to stick and grow around it.
To my CAL ladies, I thank you all for the wonderful support system you have been since April and navigating all the pain that goes with RPL. I hope to see you all here ASAP.
Hope me you will have me!
