insert code hereSo Dh and I usually use a family middle name and I especially would like to stick to it but the pickings are getting thinner with girl #3. 

Our girls are Lucy Susan and Hannah Catherine

Our front runners are Piper and Ellie with Piper being the one we are heavily leaning towards.

Family name options I see are

Jane  ( which Dh has pretty much vetoed)
Allie
Michelle
Marie ( but that is my moms, mine and my sisters, so Id prefer not)

Which is your favorite?

Any other middle names you can think of to go with Piper or Ellie?

Update: so I sent DH a list of names (so he could see them vs me saying them)

and Piper and Ellie were still the only ones he liked (he is worse than me!) so we have decided on Piper Michelle (I pushed and pushed but he just doesn't like Jane)

My vote would be on Michelle for either name. As for first name, I lean more towards Ellie, but that's just because the only Piper I know is my best friend's dog and I can't shake the notion of it now being a dog's name, lol.

I like Piper Jane too! Piper Michelle is okay. Would Ellie be short for anything, or FN as-is? Because I think Eleanor Jane is also amazing.

Piper Michelle is my 2nd

Ellie would be the FN because we cant agree on a longer one. Ellie Marie is fine it is probably the only way I would use marie

I feel like piper goes better with my girls names, hence why it is the front runner


I also love the name Brielle and dh has had a bit of a change of heart so that might be in the running

I LOVE Piper Jane. Our daughter is going to be Sandra Jane (nn Sandy) and Jane is my mom's name, so I'm biased

I really dislike Ellie as a formal name, and even as a nickname I think it's really overdone right now.

The only one that Ellie would be awful with is Allie but, I agree with Ramy that I'm not crazy about Ellie as a first name.
I love Jane and have it in the MN spot for a couple of our choices. Any way you'd be open to using it as a FN?

Hmm I like Jane but not sold on it as a fn but my husband isnt on it ill be lucky to convince him to use it as a mn

Our DD2 will be Eleanor and we were planning on calling her Ella. Do you and H like Ella? I think Ella Michelle is nice. DD1's MN is Jane.

Love your girl's names. I like both Piper and Ellie. Jane would be my first pick for both and Marie second. If they are both off the table I like Piper Michelle but don't love it as a middle name for Ellie, I think because of the double elle sound.
