We do twice a day already and also he eats puffs, yogurt melts and the Mum mums. Today I cut up tiny pieces of steamed broccoli and cheese stick and he loved it
Are you guys sticking to the trying one food at a time for awhile? DS loves foo the first time or two he has it but after that he's less interested in eating it. Kind of like once the newness of the flavor wears off its not so fun. (But then if I go back to it after trying a different food he's all happy again)

I try to do only one new food every few days. If I introduced carrots on Monday, she'll either get more carrots or something else she's already had until Thursday. I try to do no more than two consecutive meals of the same thing so she doesn't get bored.
We did the new food every 3 days and got through the veggies pretty quickly. We've moved on to combos and I do give him a food he's had and one he hasn't in the combo.

I thought I remember hearing the "4 day wait rule"? Too much? MH and I do not have any food allergies. Maybe I'll stay with three days at first. You know.... FTM

We only waited 3 days with pb. We will with eggs, too. But everything else I just give her. We don't have any food allergies in the family. If something comes up we'll change, but three days just seems excessive for broccoli.

I usually wait a day or two in between new foods. But I don't give him only one thing for 3 days in a row. I give stuff he's already had in addition to the new food.

ditto. I'm just procrastinating hard core on PB because of the severity of my brother's allergy. I'm going to call the pedi for encouragement.

OMG Ridley LOVES cheese.
How do you give Ridley cheese?
I have to admit I want to give DS alllll the foods but am not sure how to go about it.
Yesterday I have him Banana chunks and he loved it. Today he's been eating banana in the mesh feeder and he can't get enough.

Have you tried putting a little bit on his cheek to see if he reacts at all? The first few reactions are usually mild.

i just give her small chunks and she noms on them. That's how i give her pretty much all her food. Just small chunks. Avocado, banana, nutrigrain bars, cheese, everything.

I guess what I should have asked is what type? Like a brick of cheese you chop chunks off of? String cheese?
I'm starting to give him chunks and he seems to enjoy it more.
I ended up buying some teething wafers too just for kicks.

Anyone still doing one meal only? I've got a late May baby. When did you start 2 meals?
I'm in between... some days we do two and some days we do one. Some days he's totally into it (two meal days) and some days he's so not interested (one meal, sometimes split throughout the day).

We're still doing only one meal! I need time to adjust before I add more to my list of things to do in a day! And when he's really only awake for 2-2.5 hours at a time, between nursing and feeding him food in the afternoon, I feel like he ends up with about 10 minutes of fun time. This whole feeding baby thing seems like such a production!
Plus, if food before one is just for fun, then I figure we're in no rush
I just feed her whatever, whenever. Is separating them into actual meals important? She's more of a grazer. Though today she actually ate a meal because what was left of my lunch wasn't enough for her and she just screamed until I gave her more food.
