Welcome! This is a weekly check in for those of us who are pregnant after loss and/or infertility. This check in is a safe place to share all things that come with being PgAL and/or PAIF, and to give support to others.

Hi ladies! I have missed you all, but had a nice 2 weeks of vacation!
How far along are you?28 weeks- yay 3rd trimester!
How are you doing physically? Emotionally? Physically I'm doing better than I expected- after 2 weeks of walking around a theme park, I'm feeling pretty good. Emotionally, I hanging in there- I've reached the point where it's really really easy to get on my nerves and I'm trying not to snap on people for no reasons.
Any appointments or milestones this week? Regular OB appt tomorrow and they're going to start growth ultrasounds, so that'll be nice to reassure my PGAL brain
QOTW: How's eating going for you these days? Any crazy cravings? MOTN snacking? Being type II, it's actually getting harder for me to eat as my sugars are harder to control. I don't really have any cravings and I (luckily) haven't been waking up in the middle of the night other than to pee.

How far along are you? 28w+4d
How are you doing physically? Emotionally? Physically very well. Emotionally still having some low times. Just dumb, pessimistic thoughts that creep in and have me crying in the car like this morning.
Any appointments or milestones this week? Nope
QOTW: The biggest change to my diet is eating more steak. I'm enjoying that. Otherwise, no real cravings that I can think of. MOTN I do get hungry. And it's hard not to notice since I'm up at least twice to go to the bathroom. I usually grab a handful of grapes or drink some orange juice.

How are you doing physically? Emotionally? Physically, I am okay. I have had to wear tennis shoes a lot when I am at home due to my feet and ankles starting to feel the extra weight. I can't stand for too long in one place or my feet also swell up. OH JOY! Emotionally..to be honest I am pretty much all over the place, I hate being super sensitive but as of right now that is exactly what I am.
Any Appointments or Milestones this week? Well I had my glucose last week none this week. But next week is now every 2 weeks. IT JUST got real that I have sooooo much to do.
QOTW: How's eating going for you these days? Any crazy cravings? MOTN Snacking? Ugh, this is going not so good. I am snacking all the time and heaven forbid I get a lil down..cause here is comes where I just consume everything in my path. I need to slow down. I have three months to go and I just feel like I am giving up already.
W , Sorry that eating is not going that well! I hope that your glucose comes back with flying colors. I am kind of hoping I don't get a call from the Dr. office, then it means that I have passed it from last Thursday.
tbonequeen13, I completely understand the moments of biting peoples heads off! My DH knows to try and steer clear.
littlelion, I just traveled with DD and I cried in my car when we got out of the airport and into the car. I was so overwhelmed with her temper tantrums and being able to deal with the whole situation. I just felt like a failure and I didn't know how I was going to do this...how am I going to do two? How am I going to be a good mom to both. SO I am sorry that you cried today...its definitely hard sometimes.
How are you doing physically? Emotionally? Pretty good on both fronts. I'm looking for a chiropractor to help with my hip and back issues, but otherwise I'm pretty darn good. Emotionally I'm doing good, especially after we saw the little bean last week at my last minute appointment and all looked good and my cervix is nice and closed and long.
Any appointments or milestones this week? Nothing this week, my regular 28 week appointment is a week from today. I'm surprised my practice doesn't start every 2 weeks until 36 weeks! Seems like a lot of you are starting those at 32 weeks.
QOTW: How's eating going for you these days? Any crazy cravings? MOTN snacking? Eating is going fine, I don't really have cravings and I never snack in the motn unless I feel sick.

Hi ladies! Like W I haven't checked in in a while -- no real reason except that work has been busy and by the time I remember to it is like Wednesday!
How far along are you? 27 weeks and 3 days
How are you doing physically? Emotionally? Physically starting to feel really big. I don't know what happened but 27 weeks and now I'm all out of breath and tired all the time. Still exercising and I think that is helping. SO much trouble sleeping. Up five times a night to pee and I count it as a win if I don't wake up at 4am for an hour or so. Emotionally feeling pretty good actually. I think I will feel better and better as I move into and through third tri. I know there are no guarantees and clearly I want the little baby to stay in until she is ready but knowing she has a good chance of making it at this point keeps me calm. WineNChocolate, totally understand the feeling of overwhelm at the idea of two kiddos. It is what is making me try to slow down and enjoy the last 12-ish weeks of relative calm. littlelion, sorry about the crying. We're here to listen!
Any appointments or milestones this week? Growth scan on Friday for 28 weeks. I'll have them every four weeks in addition to my regular appointments.
QOTW: How's eating going for you these days? Any crazy cravings? MOTN snacking? I want to eat all the food. Trying to really cut back on sugary snacks -- just because I passed my glucose test doesn't mean it is good for me!

How are you doing physically? Emotionally? My back is killing me. I think DH is going to pick up a support belt on his lunch today, the time has come... Emotionally I'm feeling a bit frustrated. Preparing for baby is pretty much the only thing on my mind, it's been hard to engage in any other interests, which is annoying. However, I just feel like such an inexperienced first timer that I just get overwhelmed with trying to figure things out (what gear do we need, how much of this or that, etc). DH is easily annoyed by my frustrations, so that doesn't help.
Any appointments or milestones this week? Nope
QOTW: How's eating going for you these days? Any crazy cravings? MOTN snacking? Doing better than I was even a few weeks ago - actually making meal plans. Lunch is still hard. 40 minutes to go and I have no idea what I'm eating today... I've been craving a donut from our local cider mill, and I finally satisfied it this weekend, yum! And I've only had one MOTN snack, when I really had nothing of nutritional value for dinner the night before...

Winnifred, Oh hunny, let me say this for FTM with your first lil one...as long as you have somewhere for LO to sleep, diapers, wipes, food, carseat and clothes. DO NOT STRESS IT. Try and focus on that when he/she actually gets here. They will be co-sleeping (I am assuming) for a while so you have time to feel out what is really needed. If you can get your hands on a swing or something like that great. IF NOT it won't be totally necessary to their survival. I got carried away right at the end and you know what I barely used half the crap that I bought or had bought for me till she got to like 1-2 months old. ON THE HUB FRONT: Welcome to the world of husbands take some work to be what we need them to be durin this time. MY DH was an asshat about my moods last pregnancy and thank the gods has somewhat started to understand it this time around and is trying not to be his charming self. Just hang in there you are so CLOSE! 10 wks! Donuts are totally nutritional..who said they weren't!?!?

WineNChocolate, aww you're so sweet, thank you! I know rationally that she has pretty much everything she needs for the first 3 months. But it's so hard to shake that drive to make sure she has EVERYTHING she needs for the first year. I'm going to work on a list of what we need today, hopefully I can mark some items as needing not to worry about until later on (easier said than done).
I think the guys just don't get it, and I understand to a certain point. It's not their body/hormones, etc. But still!

How are you doing physically? Emotionally? Physically, just some aches and pains. I did a 5k yesterday and could feel it last night. My hips were hurting while trying to sleep. Emotionally doing okay right now.
Any appointments or milestones this week? I have an appointment on Wednesday.
QOTW: How's eating going for you these days? Any crazy cravings? MOTN snacking? I've been craving Mexican food a lot this pregnancy. And ice cream. Still waiting on the results of my three hour test to see if I need to change anything.
