How is breastfeeding going? Good days and bad. The distracted nursing sometimes makes it so I can't get her to eat no matter what I try. I had DH give her a bottle for several feedings one day last week because I needed an emotional break. Sometimes it feels like I'm fighting her and it's not worth it because it upsets her so much. Then, the next day is awesome. Ugh.
How is pumping/work (if you are back to work)? Pumping is good.
How are nights? Hit and miss! More good nights than bad lately though.
Any teeth/signs of teething? Same drooling and chewing but no teeth.
Questions/AW/Rant? See above
GTKY: I'm ready for cooler temps, decorating for holidays, fire places, leaves changing, and time change.

How is breastfeeding going? Sigh. I just never doubted myself with DD1. It's so strange how much less comfortable I am this time. I forced myself to drink some Pony Malta because they say it's good for breast milk here... I've been doing oats at least once a day too. She seems happy between feedings but feeding her tends to be difficult.
How is pumping/work (if you are back to work)? Neither
How are nights? Such shit. This past week went from almost great to really horrible again. Plus DD1 has been sick and DH is out of town. It's been a rough week.
Any teeth/signs of teething? No teeth yet
GTKY: It's Fall! What are you most excited about? We don't really have any plans until closer to winter. I'm sure we'll do a halloween party but I'm just not as excited for it this year as I have been in the past!

How old is LO? 3 months
How is breastfeeding going? I'm actually at a place where the latch is pain-free. So many exclamation points. It never really got here with my toddler, until we went down to 2 feedings per day (and I fed her till 20 months). After 2 months of a nipple shield and a weight loss problem, I'm just so excited that it's finally easier.
How is pumping/work (if you are back to work)? Pumping is for the birds. It's going fine.
How are nights? I wish I saw less of them.
Any teeth/signs of teething? He drools, but not really.
Questions/AW/Rant? Okay, here's my main concern right now. My nanny is giving him huge bottles all day long. Like today he got 5 oz at noon, 6.2 oz at 2pm, and another 5 oz at 4pm. That's 16 oz in four hours! What? Can this be within the range of normal? I'm not sure why they were so close together (I had last fed him shortly before 8am, but only one side), but I'm guessing she kept feeding because he was crying and not napping and she was trying to bring about sleep? I know about paced bottle feeding and feel like I should reinforce it. Curious if anyone has other thoughts or ideas, if this is a problem.
GTKY: It's Fall! What are you most excited about? Not sweating all day every day. Windows open. Comfy pants not being too hot. I think I spent most of the summer in a postpartum hot flash, so that definitely colors things.
16 oz. in 4 hours is not normal, and 6 oz. is huge for a breastfed baby (they typically top out at 4, occasionally 5). So yeah, talk to her again about paced feeding, and maybe give some tips on other ways to soothe. I'm just concerned about your ability to keep up with that demand.

How is breastfeeding going? Good. It has it's ups and downs
How is pumping/work (if you are back to work)? Not getting as much pumping lately. I stay at home so j mostly pump to have a freezer stash.
How are nights? Some good nights some horrific nights
Any teeth/signs of teething? Same old same old. Lots of hand chewingb and sucking and drooling
Questions/AW/Rant? I'm currently pretty sore and raw. DS has been nursing a TON Lately and unfortunately he almost always refuses to nurse my left side. (So I pump that side as much as I can even though it produces very little) since he's nursing so much my poor right side is getting raw. He's been fighting bottles so I don't even get too much of a break.
GTKY: It's Fall! What are you most excited about? Changing leaves, pumpkin flavored things.
