C's current book obsession:
It's pretty cute if you haven't read it. Sadly I've read it roughly 15 times a day for the last week. C also brings it to DH to read as soon as DH walks in the door.

budders, I'm sorry you're having day care/illness issues again already. Our day care has called me a couple times when DS has an elevated temp and is fussy, but more of a, "hey, just want to let you know he's not doing so hot," more than a "hey, you HAVE to get your kid out of here." I normally try to get out of work early those days anyway so he can rest, but I certainly appreciate that they have a fairly rational sick policy, at least what we've experienced so far. I don't remember if you mentioned this last school year, but have you looked into other care providers in your area? It seems you've had enough problems with this one it may be worth a little research, though I appreciate that's a huge decision as well.

Sorry V isn't feeling well budders. Hopefully being home with you tomorrow will perk him up.
Our snow didn't amount to much and melted away by early afternoon. I'm still shocked to see snow in September and scared for what's to come... I finally got all the pictures off my phone and onto my external hard drive. That was a treat. 11,996. Pictures. Since my child was born.
Mine was ohh... It's snowing..... great.... The kids are going to be WHACKED out. When it snows I prefer it to dump and stick, so I can say we wear all gear until the snow is gone. None of this limbo stuff.
Well even though we've been here during winters before. I guess I'm still used to NC snow: excitement followed by panic thoughts of where to buy mass quantities of bread, milk and eggs.
