I'm so annoyed by this girl that always gets up in DS' face when they line up in the morning. Then she proceeds to hit/tap his backpack. I usually start to walk away to give the teacher her space when she comes out so I shouted out at the girl 'hey don't do that!' I really wish ds would defend himself a bit better but he probably doesn't even realize what's being done. I think I'm gonna start just standing there until the teacher comes out. Eff it.
Hey guys, mind if I jump back in here? I posted a bit when we moved over and I know most of you from parenting. I need to be around more OAD people because I'm struggling a bit lately. Not with being OAD but with being on an island. I know very few OADers IRL.
we don't know anyone oad IRL either. I have a couple fb friends that live out of state with one kid but they're both single & sound like they eventually want another so not the same for sure.

Heyyyy @juliagulia. All are always welcome.
I'm a little too impressed with myself for making it through the whole debate. I fell asleep 12 seconds after it was over.
It's really busy at work this week because it's end of month and end of quarter, but for some reason this is making the days feel longer instead of flying by.
Also, I accidentally left my lunch bag in the fridge last night and maintenance threw it out. They are vicious here.
I did not want to get up this morning, and I still am not fully awake. Stupid bug takes all my energy and gives it all to LO.
LO saw some leaves in the yard and is "sooooo excited" to play in them. He understands there are not enough yet (there are maybe a dozen), but he keeps checking for progress. I advised him it will take a while, but I hate to break it to him that his definition of "a while" and mine are not even in the same ballpark. Lol.

Cleaned out DS closet after school. Have a good amount of things to give to my friends son. They're the same size but there's no way DS needs everything SIL sent over to us.
Planning on enjoying the sunshine after school. Taking DS on a walk before going to the Pokemon party at our library this evening.

ds isn't convinced it's fall because the leaves haven't fallen yet I feel you lol

Mine took some convincing for that same reason. I explained they change color first (we thankfully have a few trees in the neighborhood that are species to turn early, so there was a tiny hint of color). It was super windy the other day though which is the whole reason we have a whole dozen leaves. Lol.
