I have the day off today so I took LO to school and then went for a run. Now I'm getting a smoothie and coffee then it's a big study day for me. Pretty excited to have a full day of no kid, no husband, no work, just studying. I miss being a FT student. Wah wah wah. Have a good day everyone!
Not much exciting to report here. I have a big hearing this afternoon so I'm just prepping for that this morning and already getting excited for my second coffee.

DC noticed Leo's eye at the end of the day yesterday. DH is watching him now and taking him to the pedi's this morning. I'll be working from home in the afternoon.
I want this week to end so I can enjoy the weekend again. But then again next week is my busy week so nope, I'm SOL.
This week is a bit nuts but after it's over I'm pretty sure it'll be a lot more low-key from then until I go on leave. I hope so anyway! How are you feeling these days?
Work again but a bit better than yesterday... OMG I just looked at our reservation for Disney and I think I booked the wrong area of the campsite...so I have a text out to DH to have him call when he can...part of me thinks that we did it on purpose but I am freaking out.... So I bought a few different sippy cups... I bought the take a toss and LO somehow got the lid off (on accident) and it spilt on him in bed...I bought the same ones I had before and they are great... I wish I could just find nipple replacement.. I looked on amazon but they don't have the right nipples..oh well...

Ok. My iron pill gives me issues at times. I think work is stressing me out. Between all my dr appts, calling in sick, and Leo needing to stay home for 1 reason or another...ugh, gives me acida. Work is super busy and I feel guilty not being there.

Ugh, that does sound stressful! Work definitely adds an extra layer. I can definitely commiserate.
Attempt #1 to put eye drop in Leo's eye: pretty much a fail
We've had to do eye drops. Lay him down with head in your lap and drop it in inner corner of eye then when he opens that eye, tilt his head to side so the drop falls in eye
Attempt #1 to put eye drop in Leo's eye: pretty much a fail
My first trick is blowing bubbles or something to distract. When that failed, we used to use a sheet, tuck their arms under it and then we each sat on a side. You can put the drop on the eye and they will blink it in eventually, even if it doesn't go directly in the first time. #PedsERmoves Eye drops are definitely full contact in kids.

Whyyyyy did this post my biffed up version and my edit?!!
littleliondashook totally agree. Although, I found staying home WAY hard. I was not a fan and wouldn't do it again, even if we had another one.
Oh yeah. I've been home half day with leo and can't think of enough things to occupy him. Since 4 we went on a drive, then walked around the neighborhood, after dinner played with balloon and lastly a bath. I still need to kill another hour before bedtime.
Being a working mom would be awesome if I could make my current salary, clock in 8 hrs a day (incl lunch) & not have stressful deadlines...mmm ok, maybe just 6 hrs!

wahooMOM13kcrus he knows what's up with the little bottle. I can't even get him down and when I do he starts crying. I'm going to try bedtime when he snuggles up to me none the wiser.

Stinks when they start figuring things out . May have to double team with your husband. Good luck!

Hey ladies! Checking in late tonight. Had a dentist appointment this morning and took advantage of my mom babysitting and got some kid free shopping done. I found a bunch of frames for a gallery wall. I'm so excited to get it all together. I already made a chalkboard sign for it. Instead of paying waaaay to much on Etsy, I tried making it myself and I was pretty pleased with how it turned out. Now I'm curled up on the couch with some pumpkin spice chai and my cat snuggled up against me. Tying to decide whether to read HP or continue binge watching last season of Grey's.

ashlantic I literally haven't had coffee in like two months. And it was decaf before then. I had a cup a few weeks ago and I literally thought my heart was going to explode. So I haven't drank it since. Lol
