I'm putting the dishes away when I hear hackkkk gahhh ackkk and other choking type sounds from DD. I run over and she's chewing on a bandaid. It was on her upper thigh where the ped gave her a shot this morning. its 4:42 pm... That's considered happy hour, right?
Margs has found her voice. All shrieking and whining must occur at the loudest volume possible. She was standing at the stool in the middle of the living room just happily shrieking her head off. Aye. I much prefer that to the whining...
geners I'm so happy that the new nanny is awesome!
R had his 9 mo appointment today. Everything was great. He's still a chunk. My arm hurts so bad after I hold him for 5 minutes! Both boys got their shots. F's went as expected. He kicked and screamed and then cried like we had committed the ultimate betrayal. He got ice cream afterward. R literally cried for 2 seconds after the shot and was just fine as soon as I picked him up. It was like night and day.
I'm dreading F's 4 year well check already. I really need to take him to the dentist too but I don't see how they will be able to do anything with him fighting. Three year olds are hard.

C has started whining recently. Drives me up the wall!

geners Now that sounds like a nanny that is good at her job! I'm so glad she's working out for you guys.
COCO I'm glad your LO is ok! I have to admit, though, my ped has always said to take the bandaid off unless covered by pants and I always thought to myself how the heck could a baby get that into their mouth.... And now I see it is definitely possible! I had a bit of a chuckle trying to picture it!

Your ped knows what he/she is talking about! How DD managed to pull the it off is beyond me. She was wearing shorts that covered her thighs and was in her walker. This kid keeps me on my toes!
