laceysbryan, FX everything is OK I am working today and my mom usually takes LO when I work on Thursdays but she had to go to physical therapy this Am so I brought him to DC and then my mom met me there to pick him up around 11...he is so darn cute.. I said can mommy have a kiss and I leaned into the car to get one and he actually met me half way for a kiss instead of his usual "no" and turning away...they are going to have lunch then go home and take a nap... I had a meeting last night and didn't get home until 8:00 and the boys were already in bed, so I actually got some alone time for a bit before I joined them.... I am off tomorrow and plan on doing nothing...oh I do have to mop the floor but we will see... Oh I just remembered my LuLaROe leggings should be in the mailbox when I get home! Hope everyone has a great day!

Leo's fever spiked MOTN to 102.6. And I had no children's Tylenol or Motrin. Had to send DH out to a 24 hr walgreens. And he had a nosebleed. Although he was lethargic his appetite didn't seem affected. He had a good dinner and after taking his motrin ate some blueberries. I was so worried even though I know these things happen and it'll pass, I kept tossing and turning all night checking up on him. At around 5 am his fever broke, he sweated it all out. DH stayed home with him and they both slept in late.
I am so tired. I can't wait for this week to end. I assume Leo will be ok for DC tomorrow. After that I plan on cuddling him all weekend long. I hate seeing him sick. At one point he kept touching his head and whimpering, he prob had a headache.
This morning I walked out all bundles up and realized my house was colder than outside. weird.

laceysbryan I had some moles removed and biopsied in high school. Fx it's nothing! And thanks for the reminder to get to a dermatologist. I've been meaning to make appointments for dh and I to get our skin checked for ages. Time to get on it! babyw15 it makes me feel better to hear that my lo isn't the only one who says no to mama's kisses. Lol Enjoy those LLR leggings! I'm wearing a pair today and they're sooo comfy. littlelion I agree, it's so hard not to worry! Hugs, hope Leo starts to feel better soon.

It has been pouring rain since yesterday here. There's flood warnings all over the place and the freeways are a mess, so we're staying home today. At least lo is back to his happy self. I've got a pork tenderloin in the crockpot and it smells delicious! Excited for dinner tonight.
Walked to story time this morning because DH needed the car to get to physical therapy. It was nice out so I'm not too upset. I've been washing the laundry, but putting off folding and putting away. Dinner is a take and bake pizza because that's how I roll today.

Reading my developmental psych homework. The chapter is Toddlerhood. I'm "learning" that between 18 and 24 months old toddlers can experience an increase in nighttime wakings due to teething (molars), or also "perhaps" due to an increase in awareness that they are separated from their parents and the ability to intentionally summon the parents or try to go to their room.
Yeah, thanks. Tell me something I don't already know. We're big into the nighttime wakeups these days. He goes down at 7, and he's usually hooting by about 10:30 or 11 (I've already heard him once tonight a little bit ago), and then maybe one or two more times during the night. I'll go in there usually once if he doesn't settle down to cuddle him and then put him back down but ERMAGERD I miss him STTN like a champ.

Also, thanks for the thoughts on my biopsy. I'm not too worried about it at all, which is weird for me because I'd usually obsess about something like that until I got an all-clear. I think I'm just so swamped that I'm out of shits to give. I really only went to the dermatologist to get a different mole removed for cosmetic reasons - the full body check was kind of just an extra, with the biopsy being an extra extra. I'm sure it'll be fine. Now I just get to go to the dermatologist more often.

I'm not entirely sure how it happened after the psycho shit day that was today. But a load of dishes was done, the main living area is actually clean and we finally hung up curtains and my coffee mug rack.
ourcrazynavylife your cat must be less of an asshole than mine because all I can think is how she'd knock all those mugs down in no time at all. Lol Looks great! And that diaper cake is adorable! I totally feel ya on the just keep swimming some days.
