My living room is engulfed with legos but I don't care. I went to the library earlier to print things out & went over to the board of ed to apply for a monitor position at DS' school. I swear they're the only school district without online apps so I did that & then applied for the license through the state to show initiative. The superintendent needs to virtually sign it so I emailed him to give him a heads up. Maybe this will make me a contender. We shall see.

It's so gloomy here! But, grandparents day part 1 was a huge success!
We have a soccer game tonight and a spirit night at a local fast food place this evening. No cooking for me too bad it's supposed to rain during his game School age sports problems!

It was raining when I got ds so I had my big umbrella & then a small one for him. In 1.214636272 seconds, he broke the umbrella, I think. He's lucky it was old. Will have to show Dh when he gets home, maybe I'm just dumb & can't get it to stay open. 😔
Wait...people put their crock pots away? Like, for more than a few days? Huh.
I sure don't. Then again, I had soup a few weeks ago, chili a month or two ago, and think nothing of brats in February, so maybe I am not the person to advise on this matter.

Omfg ds got trampled by that older kid who has no disregard for anyone else but himself. They were playing sharks & minnows. Ds got the ball from him & was kicking it away & the kid came from behind him & blatantly pushed him down. Oh boy we were pissed. The kid just kept saying sorry just like he does every week when he knocks people over or kicks them with the ball. Like wtf you're doing this shit on purpose. Saying sorry means nothing if you keep doing the same thing over & over & this time was the worst. Of course with our kid. So ds was all shook up. His glasses got knocked off, that's how hard the impact was. Such an asshole. Dh ran to him, yelled at the kid. As did I. His dad is never there to watch what he's doing so afterwards the coach apologized, said he didn't even see it. Of course. Then he said he was gonna talk to his dad & the kid started crying/screaming, seemed like he was afraid of him. Good. Hope he gets punished. Jerk.
