Just spent $40 on books for my class and I dont even feel like i got a lot for $40. Booo. Anyways i justified the purhase because im going to take them home for P after our October unit. 2 birds, 1 stone.
My mom came up today to spend some time. She said my dad wanted her to bring e home to spend the night. He misses her. His idea if hb and i cant find a job down there and we both have to work up in pa then they can keep e during the week and I can have her for the weekend.
When I was pregnant he never even wanted to talk about her. My mom also thinks he tried to not get attached because he always wanted to move south after they both retired but now he can't go with out e.
I'm so bummed. Work is doing a Happy Hour at the office. Beer, mimosas, appetizers. Kids. Always ruining a good time
That sucks. I never went to a happy hour my work did.
We have a small staff and it was at the office. You can't really get out of it, as they will drag you out of your office. It was a thank you for hard work on an event.

They never brought alcohol to our office. There were a couple hundred people per building. It was always at a place but never company sponsored

It's been a long week but I'm off from work for the next two weeks so YAY!
O is doing awesome. She's 31st percentile in weight and she's always been in the 5th-6th so I'm really glad. She's also walking and running with only a few falls. I feel like are finally getting on track. She's also started talking at school, saying "all done" and "thank you" today to her teacher.
F had to be picked up early from school. She was super fussy, had 3 water poos before lunch and was laying on the floor. I'm sure she was just tired after being up all night and perhaps has a touch of something. H brought her home and after a good nap, she's been happy as pie!
ruemorgan ditto on the rain. However, I'd rather have a rainy week than weekend! H just mentioned Matthew was upgraded to a 4.
Cancer sucks. Please keep a very close family friend of mine on your thoughts.
There is nothing that can help him at this point, but maybe some good vibes for him. He's at home with his wife and kids, on oxygen... just waiting for his time.

rvamama yes to a rainy week instead of a weekend, i totally agree. (Is it supposed to rain this weekend? Its still raining here) but im bummed because we have a playdate tomorrow at a farm/fall festival. All i can think about is a weeks worth of rain? That place has gotta be a muddie hell. I dont think well be going anymore, i dont want to pay money to keep my kid out of mud every 5 steps. :/ And im super curious to see what path Matthew takes. Sucks its too early to tell.

I was gonna surprise my bestfriend with those leggings but i got too excited and ruined the surprise. Before i even have my hands on them, haha. Shes excited and when she asked why i cant just buy them i explained how LLR works. Her response: it sounds like a secret cult..and i like it.
