Christmas cards are kinda my thing. I never knew I would get so crazy about them and I started off just sort of impromptu, but I've gotten more elaborate each year. I purchased the kids' outfits last night on a whim while shopping for something else. I'm so excited. I'll wait for them to get here and then decide what H and I will wear. I'll be back to post pics of the outfits.
I do our card design on Shutterfly usually and I try to send them out the second week of December but I like to have the pictures done at the beginning of November. I'm thinking of hiring a photographer this year which I have never done!
We get so few pictures of us all together. I'm always behind the lens and my H doesn't care about pictures so this is my one time a year that I for sure get pics of the whole family together!

We will do one but will not take any specific pictures for it. We will probably use a family one from our Colorado photo shoot and then a few random ones of Cameron. I typically use shutterfly or snap fish to make cards.
I haven't sent Christmas cards in the past but plan to start this year. We moved out of state in May so I figure Christmas cards are a good way to stay in touch, say hello, let people know we're thinking of them, etc. Also, I want to show off my kids I'm not sure about photo yet but I know it won't be taken by a professional.
I am not sure if we'll do Xmas cards. Right now I'm feeling lazy. Maybe a small batch? I love Minted. We're hoping to do pics at Christmas, so maybe a New Years card?
We haven't decided yet. I would like to but it depends on if we get a family picture or not. M is getting his 1 year pictures done in a few weeks so I might she if she'll snap a couple of all of us. We wouldn't do any real outfit coordination. Just some neutrals for H and I and then whatever M is wearing for his pictures.
We are getting family pictures done in a couple weeks. The idea was to capture the fall foliage, but we will be dressed neutrally so I will probably have her take a couple of us as a family that aren't too autumn-y that I could use to create a holiday card on tinyprints or Shutterfly.
I probably won't worry about it until December otherwise, I figure if last year we managed to get birth announcements/cards out by Christmas with a newborn at home and not ordering them until the second week of Dec we should be fine this year!

I use Shutterfly for cards. We have her 1 year pictures scheduled in November and we will also be taking a few family pictures to use for Christmas cards. It's too far out for me to pull outfits together, but I will figure out what EG will wear and then coordinate myself and H with her outfits.
I ordered my Christmas cards last year from my hospital bed when DD#2 was 1 day old. I wanted to make sure she was included, but get them out in time for Christmas.
We go to a fancy Christmas party every year at the beginning of December, which has a photographer. We usually pick a color theme and use that picture as our Christmas card.

That's awesome! To both things! I didn't include DD2 last year. My cards had already been mailed.
we sent birth announcements last year en lieu of holiday cards. but we'll do holiday/new year cards this year. I usually use shutterfly and go for one of collage cards and just include photos from throughout the year.
I love Christmas cards. We include pics on the cards that I design on snapfish...sooo obbessed. This year we are getting a pic professionally done, unless we snap one I like better in front of a tree some where
