SO is home and M has acted like he never left. It's awesome. She's sitting with him on the couch, drinking her milk, totally chill. I was worried that she'd cling to me. But, nope, she's got her daddy and she's a happy baby
We went out to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner tonight to celebrate Johnny's birthday (h's youngest cousin who just turned 17). The kids did good, d started losing it at the end and both were asleep before I made it to the car after being left to pay the bill!
Hey guys. H got projected orders today! Theyre not hard orders yet, so it could change. Im not supposed to post publicly about it, so excuse the vague post and ill fill you all in in a group PM when we have hard orders. Idk what im feeling right now. Not excited, but also not disappoined. Just "meh, ok" with a little anxiety thrown in. Mostly freaking out about quitting my job.
Took P to the drs today and he DOESNT have an ear infection. Not even slightly irritated. Wth was the bloody discharge yesterday then?! Last night he woke up at midnight. I went to bed at 11pm. So imagine the look of disbelief on my face when the pedi said he was fine. FINE. THIS IS NOT FINE.*grumble grumble*
So what kind of thermometers do y'all use? H has her first sickness and she is freaking out about me taking her temp under her arm.
Do you wake them up to give more Tylenol?
She threw up this morning then had a fever after nap time. I've alternated Tylenol and Motrin and gave some Pedilyte (sp?) because she wouldn't drink water all day.
tacocatmom haha, no i wanna play it safe. I can PM you if you want! As for themometers, we do under the arm. P also freaks out but if i give him another themometer (we got a million at our baby shower) to hold he gets distracted playing with it and making it beep. Also, i never wake a sleeping baby. So i vote no motrin until she wakes up.
