You can tell it's fall here - every morning this week the cat has been snuggling on my feet when I wake up! Temperatures have dropped outside, time to steal body heat from the humans!
Today's going to be a bit crazy, running around to meetings and rehearsals from about 1pm - 10pm.
It's our year end close and I work for a public company.
And our waterline to the fridge decided to spring a leak so my basement ceiling is jacked up and water has dropped enough to make our carpet soaked in a 2ft x 6ft area.
I'm ready for this weekend to be over. It's supposed to be rainy and chilly this weekend and I'm camping out with 48 of my...ahem...bestest Scouting friends? This is definitely a what was I thinking moment.
Good morning! @wallflwr926 I hope you got some sleep after your nighttime plunging adventure.
I'm going to acupuncture this morning before work, I'm so excited (it's my second time).
wannabmama, have they done any of the electric stimulation? Could be purely coincidence, but growth totally picked up after that for me. They use something similar to a tens but much less intensity.
TTC #1 since August 2013 DX: Endo November 2014: Hysteroscopy, D&C June - September 2015: Clomid + Novarel + IUI #1-3 January 2017: Laparoscopy - endo removed

I'm looking forward to my appt tonight
No, she hasn't done that, not sure if she does it. Today's was a lot different than last time, not as peaceful...but after she said she was curious if I would have anxiety today b/c what she did was to "blow off" excess energy and anxiety and some people can have a reaction to it. I wasn't anxious, just felt a lot of "buzzing" in my body and didn't fall into the deep sleep like last time (I also, annoyingly, started coughing a bit...I have a tickle in my throat that comes and goes sometimes and of course it crept up while I was trying to find my zen, ha)! I don't even care if it does anything, I just love the experience...have fun tonight!!

rooskie, no! That sucks about the leak. So sorry you have to deal with that. badwolf, what are Scouters?
Wednesdays are apparently the best way to bake cupcakes, according to DH who ask me to bake at the 11th hour for his team for Customer Service Appreciation Week. So I'm at work, trying to find a recipe. I'm thinking Pumpkin Spice cake w/ Maple Marshmallow frosting. Should I stuff that with anything? I usually like wo do a filling or something to my cupcakes, but I can't think of what would complement these flavors... white chocolate ganache?
Boy Scouts and their leaders. I volunteer as a leader even though I don't have an active Scout. Scouters are a nickname and encompasses both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts as well as the BSA's lesser known programs. This weekend is training weekend so I was hoping it was going to be a nice weather weekend. No such luck, LOL.

My poor sister is currently figuring out evacuation plans from SC. My BIL is out of town for work, so she has to deal with both a 13 month old baby and a pug by herself. Apparently they are saying it will take at least 6 hours of driving from where she is to reach the "safe" zone.

Whoa, that's scary. I hope she can get out quickly and not be stuck in traffic.

Yikes! I hope she gets out ok! People I know in FL say that it is just insanity everywhere.
My FIL is in FL and lives in a mobile home...he has friends who are inland enough that he can stay with, but he has none...zero...insurance on his house, so he is terrified about what may happen.

Ugh...hope she gets out safely and no extra delays/headaches.
