H and I don't have cable. We watch our tv shows using Hulu. This year most of our shows (on the cw) will NOT be on Hulu because the two companies couldn't work out a deal.
Cw has an app but it's not available on the ps4. I can get the app on my phone but boooooo and I don't even know which episodes are free and for how long

The kids were hellions today. Not good since it made packing to go on our trip to Ohio very stressful. We are about to hit the road and hopefully the rest of the weekend is smoother sailing and they are somewhat happy at the wedding on Saturday.

Welp, after seeing my dog degrade throughout the day and then brainstorming with my husband about things that could be causing her sickness we came up with blue-green algae poisoning from our new cabin. She is fitting pretty much all the symptoms and she stopped eating the day after my BIL brought her to the lake.
If it's not that then it has to be poisoning of some sort. Either way it's really not looking good.
DH is at the emergency vet with her now. I am so stressed and my kids are making it worse.

DS is becoming quite a traveling baby. Already in his life he has made three road trips. Tonight we are making a four hour trip for work and have another three hour work trip next week. I am just glad that it all worked out that he could come with me so I don't have to be away from him overnight.
We spent the evening at children's mercy with the 2 year old. We think he had a febrile seizure this afternoon due to a spiking temp. It was 104 when they checked him in. He's fine and we're home but it was scary. My head is pounding and I feel nauseous probably from stress. Not a good afternoon.
Prayers/ good vibes we can keep his fever down until he gets over whatever infection is causing the temp so this doesn't happen again would be much appreciated.
aaemommy, how terrifying! Thinking of you and your son.
So it's not blue-green algae, because she would have been dead in a matter of hours. They did an X-ray and she has a pin or a needle in her intestines/stomach! It may or may not be the source of the issue. She will need to have an ultrasound to see if it is in stool or free. If free she will need surgery. Love my dog so, bye money!

Aww I'm sorry. My MIL breeds dogs and she's been to the emergency clinic more times than I can count. Years ago she had one dog who ate all of the bristles off of a BBQ brush. They had to scope them out one at a time. She had another who ate a cotton glove that needed emergency surgery. And while I was staying at their house last week one of her 7 month old puppies threw up a huge stone.

Oh no! That must have been so scary hope you can keep that fever down!
FX for speedy recoveries for all the sick kiddos and pups!
When I got home today MH had a snack ready for me and the oven preheated for pizza. Not exactly gourmet but it's a dinner I didn't have to make. I could get used to this.
Well the earlier bed time was such an epic failure that DS is just now settling in.
I guess tomorrow I will try 7:30 instead of 7 maybe I moved bed time too much ealier.
I would try moving it up gradually. Is he napping 3 times a day now? He might still need a later cat nap before bed.
3-4 naps depending on when he wakes up.
The reason why I was thinking of moving it up is he falls asleep around 6:30 or so and often is still sleeping when I bring him upstairs and he wakes up or he wakes up downstairs and is ridiculously crabby and fussy. It's only the past week or so that he wakes up crabby. He used to sleep for 45 minutes or so and be chipper until around 8 when he goes to bed.

I feel like I'm talking in circles lol
Sounds like he is ready for bed at 6:30. Maybe he was over tired since you pushed that nap/bedtime back. I would try doing bedtime at 6:30 tomorrow. What time does he usually wake up for the day?

He usually goes to bed around 8:30 (it's only in the last week that he's been getting fussy after his cat nap) and gets up somewhere around 8:30. Sometimes 7:30 and sometimes as late as 9.
Tonight I tried 7:00 for a bed time (doing the whole bedtime routine we do) and put him in the crib. He slept for a little while but woke up and purple screamed. 😢

Honestly if that schedule works for you I wouldn't change it. Ds1 had a similar schedule and I loved the late mornings! Sometimes they just wake up cranky, happens here pretty much everyday.
DS's daytime has devolved into a series of 20 minute cat naps. He's at DC, so it's not rough on me during the daytime, but he's become such a shit sleeper at night. I wish we had a bigger house where we could just let him CIO and not annoy us to much. It's fine when we're awake, but MOTN CIO is more obnoxious just getting up and tending to him.
We can't keep meds down him and his temp is getting gradually higher. I don't know what to do. Ugh. Sick babies are so pitiful and sad. And scary. I don't think I'll be getting any rest tonight. 😞

Poor babe. Hopefully the meds will stay down soon and start working.

Luke warm bath while you call your advice line? (I hope you have one!)
If he already had one febrile seizure, I'd be hesitant to mess around with a wait and see approach.
