13+1. EDD: 4/15
Baby's size: jalapeño
Updates/appointments? Appt 10/26 (whatever that Tuesday is lol) BLOODWORK TOMORROW - I promise.
How are you feeling? I feel good. Last week was tough for me. I woke up in the morning really needing to eat and if I didn't, I gagged.
GTKY: Do you plan on dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? If not, why not?
I will work on Halloween and wear a shirt that says Little Pumpkin on my belly announcing my pregnancy. No costume here as we can't wear them to work and H and I are not hitting the bars lol.
Updates/appointments? Found out on Friday that we are having a GIRL (and low risk for chromosomal abnormalities). Also, I'm officially in my 2d tri!
How are you feeling? Just tired and short on patience.
GTKY: Do you plan on dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? If not, why not? Probably not. I have to fly to nola for work on Halloween, so that night is out. We'll probably try to do something fun with the toddler over the weekend, but I don't think I can muster the energy for costumes for us all.
You guys are good. I forgot the Weeks/EDD part and you all remembered 🙈
Weeks/EDD: 11w, April 30
Baby's size: Profiterole/poker chip
Updates/appointments? Check up tomorrow. NT and MFM app on 10/18. Today is loss milestone day so that's something
How are you feeling? I'm really tired of being sick... sigh. I got asked by three separate people on Friday if I was pregnant, one of which went on to ask if I was sure I wasn't having twins because I'm "too big for 11 weeks". 😡 3rd pregnancy, lady. It happens sooner, I'm told. Totally made her uncomfortable by telling her it was my third pregnancy (her response was "but I thought you only had one kid!?!" ... I do only have one but it doesn't necessarily mean I've only been pregnant twice).
GTKY: Do you plan on dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? If not, why not? [/quote]
Not on Halloween itself. We're a "business clothes on M-Th, whatever you feel like on Friday" office. So, the Friday before, i have a shirt with a piece of watermelon on the belly that says "I ate a seed!" that I'm going to wear.
Friday, I'm telling the rest of work and will be wearing this shirt
How are you feeling? Pretty decent actually! *knock on wood * it stays this way for awhile lol
GTKY: Do you plan on dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? If not, why not? Yes, found one on pinterest as a Unicorn, will have two Unicorn horns coming out of my belly...it's not as gruesome as the baby arms or legs pooping out but still gross I guess lol

I have the feet shirt that says "let me out!" I love it lol. I had totally planned on wearing that to my induction but DS had other plans
Updates/appointments? Appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm double dipping on Ob's. I really don't want to leave the one I had with DD1 but she doesn't deliver at the hospital closest to my new house and DH is convinced the 8 minutes difference in drive time isn't worth it. So anyway, I have my first appt. with her and then another appt. with a new Ob I've never met.
How are you feeling? Meh. Can't make it through a meal without ending up feeling like I want to vomit. But I never actually do so that's a win I guess! Also the fatigue! Holy crap. Tired tired tired
GTKY: Do you plan on dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? If not, why not? Probably! DD1 is going to be a cowgirl, DH is going to be her horse and I'll be her...sheriff? I don't know.
Updates/appointments: Last appointment was 9/27. Background: At 8+4, I went into ER for hemorrhoids so bad I couldn't wait for an appointment at my butt doctor. Ended up having hemorrhoidectomy. Between spinal, oxycodone and pregnancy, I had severe constipation - we're talking two weeks of back-up. It caused urination issues as well. After several straight and foley caths, at my OB appointment she finally okayed all kinds of laxatives and enemas, and I finally got things moving again - for some reason, the people at the surgeon's clinic couldn't just call my OB and talk it out. But anyway, my current OB doesn't take Medicaid as secondary, so I need to transfer care to the clinic I went to last pregnancy.
TLDR: Hemorrhoidectomies suck, and my OB's practice sucks.
How do I feel: Still kinda backed up. 24/7 'morning' sickness - have tried diclegis, phenergan and now back to zofran. Of the three, zofran cuts between about half and a quarter of the bad. Everyone at work can tell how I feel by how much colour I've lost in my face that day, heh...
GTKY: No costumes likely here. If there's a good local daytime park event going on, I might do my default witchy outfit from some of my more eccetric clothes and the mini-witches-hat headband I got free from work last year and take DS. No clue what I'd do for him unless MIL visits and decides to buy him something between now and then. I don't really feel well enough to put a lot of effort into it.
tygandre, you win. Yikes. I assume you know that zofran is probably doing you no favors in the constipation department? But it sounds like you really need it. Hope you feel better soon!

Yeah. If I forget to take at least two colace a day, nothing moves. Well, not -quite- nothing, but I don't think y'all really need the graphic description of the downside of recovering from this surgery.
This is one of those things I'd rather not win
Edit: Also, you have my complete sympathy on the puking. That was sometimes still my days on phenergan. Also I puked the one and only time I actually tried to oral dissolve the stupid zofran they insist on giving me. The taste, ugh...

I'm 12 weeks 3 days. Not sure what fruit/item?
Updates: Everything was all good on the NT scan on Friday. I have to go get blood work for panorama screen done. Tomorrow I have a regular OB checkup.
I'm feeling a bit better. Hungry, tired, but not as nauseous.
I'm not dressing up for Halloween. My daughter is going to be a monkey. Our only festivities will be a Halloween-themed baby Bootcamp class. The kids will wear costumes and moms are going to bring treats and we'll have a little party after class. I wish we could go to the Halloween parade in our town but we have a family obligation that day. Mass at my father-in-law's grave. 😓

Due Date/Weeks: 4/19, 12 weeks 5 days
Baby's size: Plum
Updates/appointments? Going in for my 3 hr glucose tolerance test tomorrow. So not looking forward to it.
How are you feeling? Overall, good. Such a night and day difference from my pregnancy with DD. I do get nauseous when I'm hungry, though, which makes me worried for my test tomorrow- if I throw up, they said I have to do the test over again another day.
GTKY: Do you plan on dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? If not, why not?
No, I don't really dress up. DD is going to be Rapunzel from Tangled.
Updates/appointments? NT Scan tomorrow. Nervous, but excited.
How are you feeling? Feeling much better this week, but if I'm late on a Zantac dose I feel it quickly.

Ummm.. we were planning on dressing DD up as a little old lady with a few of her toddler friends, but I have not put anything into action. We will most likely head to my parents place to hand out candy. They get a ton of kids, we don't get too many at our place.

Baby size: fig or key lime (11w)
Saw baby wiggly like crazy last week. Next appointment isn't until Nov. 2. So glad I have a break from the docs. I'll do the fetal DNA blood work then.
A little less tired now that I'm weaning off prometrium and a little less nauseous. I feel both full and hungry all the time.
Not sure if I'll dress up. I'm a teacher and thinking of wearing a skeleton shirt I have from pregnancy #1 with a ribcage and a baby Skelton on it. Not sure if I'm ready to be that pound and proud yet though. I'm a teacher and in a new district this year. I'll be telling my principal just a few days before. I'm not sure what the reception will be.
No appointments this week, but my Verify results came back with good news: healthy babies. I also can't decide if I want to call back to find out if they're girls or at least one boy 😬
Im feeling pretty normal. Sometimes I think I can feel movement on my left side, but it could also just be gas.
GTKY: We won't get trick-or-treaters this year, and DD isn't old enough to do much of anything. Maybe someday I'll get into decorating, but I'm just too lazy to do anything.

Baby's size: 4 inches long crown to rump: as long as a box of crayons, about the size of a big apple/orange
Updates/appointments? 6 days away! I can hardly wait! I have an ultrasound and quick check-up
How are you feeling? Like I'm not pregnant. I feel like my bloat/weight belly is slowly being replaced by a "real" bump so honestly I feel like I look less pregnant than I did at 12 or 13 weeks. I don't really have any other symptoms other than occasional cramps/RLP.
GTKY: Do you plan on dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? If not, why not? I can't decide! I really enjoyed dressing as a skeleton/La Calavera Catrina a few years ago, so I might go for it again even though I normally never repeat a costume. Last time I was a hot mess removing make-up due to drinking, so this year as a sober sally I can effectively clean my face off before bed

mosdub omg I have the same blump/bump problem. I was all freaking out because i swear my belly is much smaller than it was last week. But it's also much harder. So I guess I'm with you in that maybe my bloat is being replaced by actual bump. It's weird tho!
How are you feeling? Slowly getting better, hooray!!! I'm hoping once second trimester hits, I'll be less uncomfortable all day long.
GTKY: Do you plan on dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? If not, why not? I am not dressing up (I don't think), but I'll be dressing Delaney up. She's only 15 months, so we will take her to my in laws neighborhood to trick or treat for probably a block or two. (I don't think she will cooperate much more than that) Then we will probably just hand out candy at their house.

onesweetworld She called me yesterday and I told her I wasn't sure and that I'd decide at my A/S in a couple weeks. I changed my mind and called her back this morning, but I never heard back. I guess I'm not meant to know :/

NT ultrasound went so well today. I cried and cried at the beginning because I just couldn't believe the HB was there.
Baby is stubborn already just like DS, and is so tall already. They think my EDD will move up. I originally thought the 21st but dating scan measured me at the 24th. Baby is now measuring for the 22nd.
