I have to pick my mom up from the airport tonight... at 11pm.. gdi.. and we have a dentist appt for dd tomorrow. I'm cautiously hopeful that it'll go good. She seems excited, and I'm holding a "surprise" over her head trying to make sure she cooperates. We are going to a huge fall festival after the appointment.
No sleep training last night. My girl is on Australian time. Finally went to sleep around 4am. I was supposed to be at a conference at 7am but now I'm 30 mins late because I couldn't get up. Today blows.
My neighbor is a special snowflake, I think, to believe that we are loud neighbors. In 13 years of rentals, I've never had a complaint. I've been angry about the attitudes and entitlement of people where I live for a long time now. Here's to hoping people are more kind in the middle of the country but my from my previous experience they are kind to ones face only to backbite later.
@mrspanpan, I'm very sorry to hear your MIL received a cancer diagnosis. I hope she has great options for treatment and gets great care. Thinking of your family.

ampaints still alive. Hospice care is coming for an evaluation at 9a today. Basically she's never going to wake up, but she's breathing well enough that her oxygen levels are sustaining her heart. From my understanding, she could go on this way for several weeks. It's depressing. I'm not a fan of the lady in general, and I know she is not technically uncomfortable or in pain, but I wish she would let go now. She looks awful, nothing like the person I remember. And both of her kids are having a hard time with this. Her brothers keep demanding that she wants to live and they need to restart life support, but they aren't at the hospital and don't understand that she isn't ever going to recover either way.
Last night was rough. W woke up 5 times and needed consoling each time. He then woke up at 530 and I fed him and put him back in his crib. It took him a bit but he went back to bed till 7. Our sleep training has gone completely out the window.
@betweenthelines. Yes. I said I was not going to raise the kids in this type of environment and I would do whatever I had to, to keep them safe. Even if it's drastic. I made my intent very clear.
I am starting to have money put into a different account next pay period as back up just in case.
@janetheconquerer I'm really sorry that is come to that for you, but I applaud you for ensuring you do the best thing for your children, as tough as it might be.
So when I dropped M off at daycare today they had a photo release form that the photographer left yesterday. Apparently my little flirt did so great that they want to use his pictures in their marketing materials. I can't wait to see his pictures!

Some mother fucker got my AEO login and tried going on a shopping spree for t-shirts and Hoodies. I got the email for the order which means they got my actual account login info. Thankfully my bank rejected it before anything cleared.
@betweenthelines I saw your post in the drinking thread last night. Is a bag of glitter dicks already on the way? Share the address and we can send a billion glitter bombs. But that seriously sucks and I'm glad your bank didn't let it go through.

So pissed. If glitter dicks were free I would've already flooded him with them by sending one a day for the next year. But I don't want to waste money on such a lowlife.
I'm so annoyed this AM because now I'm using a random password generator to change every password to every.thing. in my entire life. So frustrating.
2dumbdogs, sometimes doing that is doing the best for them. When we had to put Ilsa down, there was tons (sorta) that could be done for her but her quality of life wouldn't have been good. Chemo for a 14 year old dog to get 6 more months? No. We ended her pain.
So one of my cats just ran past me with something hanging out of his mouth. It was a dead baby mole. I tried to lure the car outside so I would have to directly deal with it. Cat dropped it under the dining room table so I used M's plastic shovel to flip that thing onto the deck.
I don't adult well when it comes to rodents. Also, this is the third mole my cats have found in the 12 years we've lived here.
layloo08 I'm still freaking out over here. I had to go out slippers on (when I'm really skeeved out I want my feet covered, don't know why.) That cat keeps running past me, I think he's pissed I threw it outside.
