I really just wish Hillary didn't have so lengthy of public service. If she had come out of nowhere like Obama without much public info., she would be a shoe in. I really dgaf about the emails. and I really don't understand how she can be blamed for Benghazi when they literally get bombarded with terrorist threats and warnings daily and have to decide how to use tax payer dollars wisely- with protecting the biggest threats and ignoring the others. We don hear the same kind of ish about SOS Powell being solely responsible for 9/11. I get that she's not everyone's cup of tea on issues like guns or pro life, etc... But I'm more angry the way her history is being used to make her out to be this terrible person and leader- especially the Bill Clinton shit. This would not be happening to a male.
I agree with you. A lot of what has been said wouldn't have been uttered if she were a man.
And for the love of God, Bill is not running for president. I DGAF that he cheated on her. Something personal that happened to her in a very public way does not sway me to vote for / against her.
One thing I actually like about her the most is her lengthy history, mainly because of how varied it in. If it were like 11 billion years in the same role... Yeah, not attractive IMO.
That's BS. Where are the Wikileaks on that? Come on hackers?
I don't think wikileaks/anonymous would do anything to hurt trump. . They are against the establishment and that would empower it. I think the lack of action shows that they are very much, you made your bed now lay in it, toward both sides.
becole Happy Anniversary! I think there's evidence pointing to 39 week induction actually being most favorable. I'll see if I can find the article. I just joined a non-woo, evidence based birth after cesarean group and the info is blowing my mind. So much in direct opposition to the Ina May crunchy birth info. vlagroupie is N feeling better today?
I feel so dumb compared to you ladies when it comes to this stuff!!

No fever, but she has a rash on her belly and a little by her mouth, so MIL came over to watch her. I don't know if its HFM because its not really that bad and doesn't seem to be bothering her. I asked her to open her mouth and her tongue kinda had white spots on it. Someone diagnose my kid! The rash on the stomach just doesn't seem like HFM and they aren't raised blisters. I'm just not sure if I need to keep her home from school again tomorrow, bc I don't think I can ask MIL to come over again.

Hey I've not experienced labor or contractions or anything, so I'm pretty much dumb to all this talk too. I had a scheduled c just 2 days before N's due date and still nothing was happening, had she not been breech and we needed to do the c/s, I'm pretty sure I would have been overdue and need to be induced.

Someone diagnose my child!
The inner corner of his left eye has been red since yesterday. It looks a tad swelled, but possibly from him rubbing it. Nothing else happening. No crusty eyes or discharge of any kind. Doesn't sound like pink eye to me, but he's never had it, and neither have I, so no experience to go on.

vlagroupie, sometimes strep can cause a rash on the check/stomach area. Since she has white spots in her mouth I would probably take her in to get tested.

I wouldn't have thought strep. We are actually in the process of switching pedi bc I don't want to make the 30+ min drive to old pedi. Would it bad if I took her to Kroger little clinic? I'm sure they can do a strep test there. I feel like children's urgent care is going to charge a bunch but I know we pay a lot less at little clinic bc of H's insurance.

I would not feel bad about taking her to a little clinic. I think the cost of urgent care centers vary from one insurance plan to the next, it just depends on your coverage. Our plan covers urgent care like any other doctor, but I know some plans make you pay a premium for using one.

Sounds like a clogged tear duct. I just had one a few weeks ago. Painful, but it will go away on its own in a few days. I'd give pain meds.

You are not alone! There's a reason I hadn't been participating in that side of the conversation today. I'm just over here like, huh?
mominthemaking14 and vlagroupie my FFTC is that I used to be obsessed with the show "A Baby Story" when I was like 10 years old. I've been interested ever since. Now I'm due for my annual exam and trying to decide if I want to stay with my current doctor, if I want to try to VBAC for next baby, etc. My friend added me to a birth after cesarean group so that's why I've been reading up lately and it's all fresh in my mind. It's blowing my mind how much scientific data contradicts what I thought I knew. Not surprising since I got most of my old info from crunchier sources.

The thought crossed my mind. When I tried to take a closer look he would say, hurt, hurt, so maybe. I'll give him some Tylenol and keep an eye on it before deciding to call the pedi.

I forgot about a baby story!! I remember my mom used to watch that and I would see it on after school when I was doing homework. I used to cry all sappy when the baby was born lol.

I could totally see that.
I already know with #2 (if/when I get preggo no need to get excited yet) I will be having a c-section and I'm ok with that. It's known only thing I HATE is the alone time in the room.

That's actually a really great choice (scientifically) given that you only want two children. That group has actually made me feel 110% better about having a CS. My only hesitation with having a RCS is that I want a larger family, but RCS still isn't off the table for me. I guess I have plenty of time to decide. One of the girls in the group just ruptured during a TOLAC and her baby isn't doing well so it's got me really nervous to attempt a VBAC knowing how high the chances are (1 in 200). ETA not that you need my validation, but just sharing new info that I've learned

Thank you for this, makes me feel not as guilty about my RCS. I'm done after #2, in fact I've thought about having my tubes tied while they are in there lol. But, for me RCS is the best option, and I honestly don't feel bad about it, but the guilt from outsiders makes me think sometimes.
mominthemaking14 are you talking about when they give you the spinal in the OR? It did kinda suck being in there by yourself, but my nurse was awesome and basically hugged me the whole time--it didn't seem too long before H was in with me.

dogmama22, vlagroupie, I'm definitely done after the next birth H is already looking for a doc to get fixed after a few months after I have our next.
Yes my nurse was great as well and they even had some cool music playing but it was unexpected, so I think it through me off.
I usto be be ashamed of having a c-section but the more I talk about it the more I find out more mommas had the same experience and the more I watch movies like "Bad Moms" and read my blogs we all stress over so much non-essential stuff with parenting lol my new maodel is she's alive and I'm alive all is well lol.
I also had horrible guilt with BF and not doing it for 9 months like I planned.

mominthemaking14 I'm trying not to give a fuck about stuff with #2. Like I'm only setting a 3 month goal for BF'ing. Pumping was hard at work and I might have to travel and everything, so if I can make my life stress free then who cares as long as baby is fed and healthy. I need to start coming up with some good comebacks to the haters I'm sure to encounter at some point. Since I'm talking to my customers on the reg on the phone they always ask about baby and I had several men say something about bf'ing to me with N, I mean wtaf.
