I have a feeling it's going to be terrible. I got into a heated argument with my employee yesterday afternoon and the conversation will continue today. When I went to pick ds up from MILs he cried because he didn't want to go home. He is currently pissed off at me because we can't go to his Mamaw's house yet.
I woke up with a headache that I'm sure is stress related.
Hope the day turns around for both of you @justinslovo and erinshelley21!
Nothing too exciting here. Today is a non-preschool day so I'm thinking of taking DS to get his hair cut. I'm also already considering my lunch options. Chipotle? Five Guys? So many delicious choices.

I have so much freaking work to do today before I leave for my appointment this afternoon. Really hoping they schedule my A/S ultrasound so I can have that to look forward to!
I have so much cleaning to do after a lazy long weekend. Dishes piled up and the living room carpet is covered in goldfish crumbs. I really want to sew something today but I am not sure I'll get around to it. Oh and C managed to smear poop on his bedsheets so thats lovely. Hes been blowing out his diapers every morning and I. Am. Over. It.
This may be tl;dr but I need to get it off my chest. My dad is such a jackass. He sent me a text last night when he left the hospital saying that if the worst should happen with my aunt that he will need to have a chat with my brother and I because "there will be fallout you guys need to know". Wtf?! Why even say this cryptic shit now? What the hell could that even mean? Id really rather not being wasting the space of mind on this garbage right now but I am spiraling on how he plans to screw us over. The backstory with him, as short and sweet as I can make it is that he stopped maturing past 17yrs old and is the most irresponsible person who just has to be a victim despite causing all of the problems in his life (which are mostly easily fixable). Ugh. I am just keeping my phone nearby and trying to send positive vibes to my aunt. Im just happy that she is being given a good dose of morphine.
Thanks ladies. Im sorry to bring down the randoms lately but it really helps to get some of it off my chest. My dads side of the family is basically just him and my aunt. My parents are divorced so I vent to my mom a bit but also hate to drag her into his shit because she somehow dealt with 20+ years of it already, haha. My brother has cut ties with him and I am working on doing the same but he lives in my basement (although he is never here until it gets cold). His life is a total clusterfuck and I am just about done being a part of it, but I am being civil while everything with my aunt plays out.
Im sorry obi, hopefully it is just him being dramatic and there isn't really a big issue. Family sucks sometimes.
This is what Im hoping for too. So far our list of "what the hell hes talking about" includes:
-im going to try to take your inheritance (he did this when our Gran passed) -you guys have to help pay funeral expenses (he hasnt had a job in 5+ years) -im going to attempt to force you to sell your house to repay your loan to me. (he put the down payment on our house which is why he lives with us).
I am hoping it is just that we have to help clear out her apartment and he is being dramatic because he is REALLY lazy and sees that as a big deal.
In other news! My 16.5m old has flat out refused his naps for the past 3 days. I just put him down after his lunch and he is playing with toys on the floor. Im just going to leave him alone and hope for the best. There is no way he is ready to have 0 naps. My H said he can see one of his back molars coming in (he has all his teeth aside from the last 4 molars) so I am hoping that has something to do with it. Or some random regression IDK...
Hopefully the water stops them. I know some ladies start getting BH fairly early though. I hope thats not the case for you!
thanks! I don't ever remember having them with DD. this pregnancy has been so so different. and I feel like a newbie.
I had them in the days leading up to delivery but they weren't as bad as some people describe them. I get the newbie feeling as well! I am having a very different experience this time around. You're having twins, right? I can only imagine that would be vastly different from a singleton pregnancy.

yes, twins. so a totally different experience in every way.
Our final inspection on the new basement is tomorrow morning. Then we start decorating (once we recover financially from the actual building of it)! And I THINK I started feeling the baby move last night! Of course, I'll doubt it until I am definitely feeling it all the time, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't gas this time
The cars unexpectedly costing us $$$$ right in the middle of finishing the basement really hurt us. And DH, who used to work a ton of overtime (which is where a lot of our income comes from), has been sticking to just his 40 hours the last few weeks. I love having him home & I know he has needed the break, but I've had to gently say "can you pick up a little OT please?" because everything happening at once has really stressed me out. I hate finances. We're supposed to go away for a couple nights later this month but right now I don't see ANY spending $. Boo.
I'm thinking about getting one of those bubbles to live in until this one is born. Not really, but I feel like I've caught every cold, allergy, stomach bug out there since being pregnant. I just want to be non-pregnancy related healthy, so maybe the morning sickness can go away for good.
I think I was having braxon hicks contractions this morning. it was not fun. I drank a ton of water and now they are gone.
We were just talking about this on my other BMB. It seems to be really common for STMs to get them earlier and more frequently. I had a bunch this weekend and I'm only 15 weeks. Crazy! Hope the calm down soon. FWIW, the only way for me to stop them is to drink like 80-100 oz of water a day. It's such a pain!

Yes, this. Seriously with basically every pregnancy complaint: drink more water. No, more than that. And have another. With BH specifically I noticed them going away when I had plenty of water.
To help minimize peeing all night, I try to get most of my water in before about 6:00pm and then have a glass or two after that.
The sensitive gag reflex is back. I can barely brush my teeth without throwing up. At least it's only in the morning right now
Add me to this team. Except mine was the nighttime brushing that I couldn't handle. I started brushing my teeth at night again early last week and have been able to since. It had been nearly a month since I could brush them at night. Gross, I know.
Now I get sick every once in a while when I cough. It happened Sunday when we were leaving for church and then as soon as I got home for lunch earlier. I'd like for that to stop.

I went to yoga last night and didn't drink as much water as I usually do before bed. and then I proceeded to chug coffee this morning. water is usually my friend, so I'll have to make sure we are BFFs.
