do you have hair? we're talking about hair right now. join us!
I do! Very long frustrating hair that I consider chopping off every day. I'm afraid to tell you all it only costs about $60 in my area for a head full of foils.
I had long hair and I cut it to shoulder length and I'm a changed woman. Like, where has this cut been all my life.
What really bugs me is that I can never replicate how they style my hair. I went two weeks ago and the stylist had the cutest hair style ever. She did her best to mimic it in my hair and it looked great. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it that way at home, so up into a ponytail it goes. womp, womp.
I can't do my own hair for shit and I have amazing hair. This is why god invented blow dry bars.
Finding someone who is good at blonde hair is a rarity like finding a unicorn. So I've held on to my dude since moving to ATL even though I'm fairly sure he doesn't actually like me and I think he's a huge bitch but goddamn can he work with blonde color.
Also his prices have increased which chaps my assssssssssssss. I pay $210 for a full foil.
I really miss working in Midtown because my colorist was a block from my office. I really miss him...and my pretty highlights. I need to find someone closer to home so I can get rid of this not-blond-but-not-really-brown color I've got going on.
I have gone through some serious periods where I just want to dye my hair dark brown or red. Like this sort of situation:
I'm always talked out of it by my colorist. Always.
I made this mistake when I lived in Long Island. It was awful. And it takes forever to go back to blonde. There's a long in-between stage. You are a blonde. Embrace it.
I went a color like this once in college. It was Tragically awful. Spent so much money fixing it.
Leaving it capitalized because that's how bad it was.
Dear heavenly mother of dildos, Goddess to all below. Please let our friend Jap emerge from her sexual adventures shard free. May the glass of her dildo only be ribbed for her pleasure. May you be kind with temperature changes and the laws of nature. Amen. In the pussy.
I was so excited to move back to AZ because I love my stylist so, so much. I had a great one where I was, but my girl here is the best. My hair has never looked better.
I found a new stylist that I loved while on maternity leave. Only when I went to book an appointment for my real life, I learned that she doesn't work on the weekends.
I don't think I've ever found one that works weekends. Or even evenings. I always end up making like a 4:00 appointment and taking an hour of leave.
I know Larry happened. Please do not try to convince me otherwise. Please don't talk to me about coffee. I don't drink it. I don't caffeine. When I state my opinion, that is me chiming in on a topic. This is not me saying you suck at life if you do or feel differently. If I want to say that, I will. If I want to speak on you, I will.

So actually it's a terrible idea to eat like shit for the several days before getting blood tests. 😐 I feel like a dumbass. With slightly high total cholesterol but pretty high bad cholesterol.

I tried this in college too. Kept turning red at scalp. Went back twice and she even put green in it to try to cancel the red out. It did not work.
I would absolutely give up the stake in the house if you really wanted to go somewhere in particular @wineonice, but TX sounds like an "anywhere but here move."
Plus I don't know if sending your kid to another stay for extended visits is more or less ideal than sharing custody in the same general area. Pros and cons to both, I suppose.
Have to add, CO is very big on shared parenting, frankly, if mediation fails, we'll be ordered into it. STBXH will agree to let me go, if I give up my stake in our house.
What is shared parenting? Assuming it's something more complex than joint custody.

My hair dresser couldn't get me in for a hot minute so I decided to go the box dye route. Not going to lie I panicked a little and ended up buying and returning 3 different ones.... Just pulled the trigger last night and... I aint even mad! It looks good. It's brown though so I was a little less scared.
If we're still on hair, my last cut & color was major sticker shock. I haven't done color in 2 years and it came to $205 for balayage and a few foils + the cut. Luckily I had $100 in gift cards to use at the salon and I do love the results, but I don't see myself keeping up with that kind of price tag.

I need to actually schedule my appointments out. I am the fucking worst about it and when I finally decide it's time to get my hair done it is always when that shit should have BEEN DID weeks ago.
Random question so I don't have to make my 92nd Disney thread.
If you were travelling with two 7 year olds would you prefer a late evening flight/midnight arrival or an early morning departure that means leaving your house by 3 AM and arriving mid-morning?
Cost difference would the $200 hotel room. Not sure yet about flight cost as SW hasn't released their schedule for that far out.
A bitter pill, but if he'd rather have hundred of thousands of dollars than an opportunity to see his kids on a regular basis, I'd let him have the house, or the lion's share of it. Like 75/25.
It's hard because I wouldn't ever want to be the reason my kids didn't get to see their dad, but the logistics of splitting all time 50/50 for the next 15 years makes me cringe.
