Last week I got out of work early and since I was in Staten Island, decided to trek over to Jersey to the Mall. In my hurry, I got a size 9 pair of Uggs because my feet grew during pregnancy.
Only when I get home do I remember Uggs run a size big, so I drive over again to Jersey to exchange for an 8 in Nordstrom. I get ready to put them on this morning. Does anything looked a bit fucked with this picture? The Uggs are conspiring to get me.
holliberry28, I do think the Uggs are trying to tell you something!
Today DS cried when I was leaving day care again. So we're 2/2 on the week of crying. I know it's a totally normal developmental thing, and this too shall pass, but... I was hoping for this to be a thing just kind of skipped over us. At least he was a lot less crabby this morning than he's been lately, so hopefully I at least am getting a happy kid back!
My WTF goes to the sleep gods. The past two nights BH has only woke once, but it's taken about 2 hours to get him back to sleep. Why isn't this directed to the teething gods? Because the past two nights LBB has ended up in our bed after nightmares. Nobody is sleeping in our house.

I hope things turn around in your house, and that both boys sleep really well starting tonight!
Two right boots! So pissed I have to go back a 3rd time.
Neither of my boys cried at drop off today! Hooray! Today there is a fire truck visiting DS's preschool so I think he was pretty excited for that. And LO didn't cry when I left him with my in-laws. Yippie!
WTF goes to my college student assistant who comes in a few hours a week. She posted on FB yesterday she caught bronchitis from her dorm-mate. Ummm...and you're coming to work and infecting all of us? Gee, thanks.
I managed to tidy up my kitchen so I'm calling it a win. Also made myself an amazing pumpkin latte so it's been an OK day here. LO is napping so hopefully he will feel better when he wakes up.

We're at the children's museum and DD is having a blast! I'm planning a stop at Home Goods after we leave here- on the hunt for some guest bathroom decor.

Hi! Things have been a bit crazy here lately and haven't left me much time to post. The nerve!
We're still trying to find a place to move. J and I looked at a couple places on my day off last week, but no luck. I'm planning on sending him to daycare tomorrow and heading back up to look at a few others in a bit larger of an area. Until we find somewhere, I will be commuting 80 miles each way, so the sooner the better.
I'm not sure if we are dealing with teething or nightmares, or a combination. It's like J is suddenly terrified of going to his room and into bed. He was still up at 930 last night screaming like someone was hurting him, and had been doing so for like 20 minutes according to H, who just puts his headphones on and ignores the screams. I finally got him calmed down and to sleep around 10 and he was back up just over an hour later for another half hour. And now he's screaming and fighting napping, but at least he is lying down.

If I remember correctly, you're looking in the Elkhorn area, right? Have you looked at Darien, East Troy, or even Mukwanago? Not sure how close you want to be to MKE.

The ones I looked at were in delavan and elkhorn. We're expanding our area to include Darien, East troy, and Williams Bay. H will still be working in South Beloit so we can't move too much closer to mke.

Psa: chipotle has a game that you can play on your computer (I assume it works on your phone as well) and then they will text you a link for a BOGO burrito/bowl/tacos.
I flung the plug to my blowdryer in the toilet Monday night. I just tried it again and it's dead. H told me he'd take it apart and fix it. I said I'd just get a new one since that one was maybe $30 at Target 5+ years ago. The technology must be better by now, right? Plus it gives me an excuse to go to Target. Winning.

We've been listening to music after the kids go to bed while we clean up.
The White Stripes is on right now. I heard LBB get up to go to the bathroom. After I figured he was done I headed to the bathroom myself. I found him in the hallway, dancing with his shadow in his underwear. Basically just shaking his little tush off.
