Hey! I got my BFP this AM (EDD of 6/26) so I guess I go here!
I'm a teacher and mom to a 1yo DS. Previous to DS we had a loss at 22weeks so PgAL brain is already running in overdrive. Previous to this I was (and still am) an S15 mama. I made the GBCB move when I was banned without warning or (IMO) real reason.
I'm really freaking apprehensive about having another because DS is still addicted to the boob and doesn't STTN. I guess H will have to up his game over the next 8 months!
I'm So excited to get to know all of you ladies
PS- I know my ticker is completely jacked right now, I'm a mobile user but I guess I will have to log on to a computer and fix that soon.

Welcome and congratulations! I stopped BFing DD a little after she turned 2. She's 3 now and still frequently wakes at night. I was thinking just tonight how I'm supposed to handle 2 waking at night, but I'm trying to reassure myself that a lot can happen in 8 months.

Yes! I know STTN may not happen with us (he's only just 1) but at the. Try least DH needs to learn to comfort him.

i know every baby is different, but just in case it gives you hope (panda too)...my DD (now 19 months) finally started to STTN around 15 months and it seriously changed my life. i felt so alone getting up 3+ times a night while all my mom friends swore she'd be STTN by 6 months or SURELY by a year. i was unwilling to sleep train, but ended up unintentionally doing a modified "gentle withdrawal" method around that time and it was like a switch flipped. anyway - you WILL sleep again one day!!!
Congratulations and Welcome! I also have a 1 year old who is still breastfeeding and only sttn sporadically. My husband tries to help, but she is in full on Mommy mode and will cry until I come in. I am praying it ends in a few months.
