Can you pump in the car? We have an outlet (or use an adaptor) and I use a nursing cover.
Emma is sick but doing better today (I think). Keeping a close eye on her.
I leave tomorrow for a conference and it's my first time away from her since she was born. I didn't go to another conference I was scheduled to, I sent someone else instead. I am looking forward to it, though I am speaking on a panel which has me nervous, and super excited about sleeping. I am nervous about missing Emma.

This is what I'll likely do, I have the outlet plug. I guess I will just bring an ice pack (I have the pump bag with the little cooler built in) and leave the milk in the car with it until after dinner? Should work out, it's not very warm out today.

That's what I do. I have a lunch bag with frozen panels and just leave the milk and pump parts in my bag in the car. It stays cold for hours. Bring a small cooler full of ice if you are really worried. But should be fine.

We are going to our friend's plantation for a big lunch before their annual dove shoot. Then we are having some friends over to grill out tonight. I'm excited!

I don't get to relax after the last few exhausting days. We're going to the inlaw's to have lunch and watch football. :/ Which means my H will ignore everyone for the game and Twitter while I carry on conversations and chase kids. I'm tired already. But my mil always has good food. I'm excited about that!
I'm getting my hair done, hitting up the shops around the salon (pottery barn, pottery barn kids, sephora!!!) and then I may take myself to the movies. I love my family so much but this mama needs time alone

I ended up with mastitis yesterday. I'm feeling like death this afternoon. The half marathon that we're suppose to run as a family is tomorrow morning, I'm starting to doubt that I'll make it to the start line and its making me sad and grumpy.
I took a video of Margaret climbing the stairs today. In the middle of it she lets out a huge fart, lol, and then has a big cheesy grin on her face. Oh Margs.

My mom came over to watch the kids today while H and I went shopping. We outdid ourselves with the shopping. H needed new clothes for the wedding we're going to in a few weeks, we got a couple things for DS (socks and a belt, who knew toddler belts were adorable?!), shirts for H and I for our Christmas pics, a recumbent bike for my new exercise routine (hoping my dad will spring for that for my bday), and I got a new tablet!!
I am in love with the tablet. I'm on desktop view for the first time in ages and it looks crazy! I'm overwhelmed with siggy info and avatars lol.
For example, I just figured out that gdaisy09 got married on my DD1's birthday! And I'm sorry you feel so bad

Another busy weekend for us which is making me so happy. This is definitely what we need in order to be okay with continuing to live here. Friday night we joined for happy hour and tennis, it was so much fun. People kept an eye on Cameron while he played and we were able to play tennis. We even kept him out a little later and he was so good.
Saturday we went to a going away party at the pool and it was great. Cameron played, we went swimming, had yummy food and drinks. We were supposed to have our yearly shipment delivered and they didn't show up. I was so pissed as we are out of overnight diapers. Hopefully they will deliver on Monday.
Today H and I are going to see Deep Water Horizon. Other oil wives have warned me to be prepared for husbands who know way too much about what's going on and for wives to cry a lot. H doesn't really go offshore too much but being apart of the industry It still hits close to home. I haven't been to the movies since Cameron was born.

Just me and the baby this morning. H is taking DS to get his first hair cut. Gulp. I'm scared. He's got the cutest curls. I hope they come back. My mom took DD1 to sing at her church. Baby is napping. I feel so calm.

Well the calm was short lived. The baby hasn't been feeling good the last couple of days and today she's running a low fever. She only slept for 30 minutes. Poor girl. We played and now she's eating lunch. Her nose is a wreck and she won't let me clean it off. Probably because it hurts. She's in good spirits though.
