Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, not for a couple weeks
Any new symptoms or changes? Just tired all the time. Nausea at times. DH thinks I'm just overthinking it (I never had MS w/ DS1)
Rants/Raves/Questions? We haven't told anyone yet. Inlaws are booking a trip to Switzerland in May/June. So we have to tell his sister not to book for mid June.
GTKY: Favorite beverage (with or without alcohol)? Wine, water with lemon or unsweetened tea

lindsay I'm having a meltdown today just remembering that although we're supposed to start feeling better around 12 weeks... That for me last time it was more like 14 weeks. 14 weeks.... Ahhhhh so I guess I should be feeling better in Dec?!?
Curious... do you think you feel more intense symptoms with your 2 little raspberries?

starsandshamrocks123 I'm not sure yet. So far it seems comparable to my pregnancy with DD. I remember feeling wiped out but can't remember how long that lasted. I also had MS until 16 ish weeks.
Ugh yes I don't know if I can make it to Dec feeling so crappy!!! I'm with you.
Upcoming appointments this week? Wednesday to hear the heartbeat!
Any new symptoms or changes? Nothing really, still plugging along with a lack of symptoms.
Rants/Raves/Questions? We told our parents this weekend. I am trying not to let my anxiety kill our joy so we decided to tell the parents and siblings. So much happiness!
GTKY: Favorite beverage (with or without alcohol)? Juice-all kinds of fruit juice!

How far along are you? 5 weeks
How big is baby? Peppercorn
Upcoming appointments this week? Last beta on Thursday
Any new symptoms or changes? Exhausted and sore boobs. I woke up this morning with a little bit of nausea. I'm not sure if that's just because I'm hungry, but I ate something and it doesn't seem to be subsiding.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I just can't wait for my ultrasound on 10/31. The anxiety of first trimester is killing me, but I think I will feel a lot better if we see a healthy baby and heartbeat in there.
GTKY: Favorite beverage (with or without alcohol)? I love Diet Coke but it is so bad for me. I have pretty much given it up since starting fertility treatments, but I look forward to having it again in 9 months!
Me (32), DH (32) TTC since Dec. 2014 Dx: severe MFI (azoospermia) Micro-TESE was successful. IVF planned for spring 2016.

Had my first appointment this morning. I need to go back to the lab for a blood draw, and they are going to schedule my first ultrasound.
Any new symptoms or changes?
Had some painful cramping last night, but feeling much better today.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
I had a chemical pregnancy at the end of July and my doctor doesn't "count" it because it was never confirmed by them that I was pregnant. I don't know if that matters at all, but it does make me feel something. I'm not even sure what - sad, maybe?
GTKY: Favorite beverage (with or without alcohol)?

mreve, I'm sorry your doctor doesn't view your chemical pregnancy as a real pregnancy all because they didn't confirm it. You have every right to feel whatever you feel about it.
Thank you teachermomtobe . I've been thinking about it more and I think because I didn't tell anyone apart from my husband and best friend about the pregnancy it would have been nice to have it acknowledged.

+1. I would be having some feelings to if I was in your shoes.
Upcoming appointments this week? None until November
Any new symptoms or changes? Still sore boobs. Stomach is a little weird at times, but not true nausea.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Three weeks until my first appointment. So far away. We don't really want to tell anyone until then, but I'm having lunch with a friend who has a newborn tomorrow and it's going to be tough to not cave!
GTKY: Favorite beverage (with or without alcohol)? Alcoholic: I love wine, but have been into Kentucky Mules lately (ginger beer + bourbon). Non-alcoholic: I drink a decent amount of tea. For a treat, I really like soda fountain cherry Coke (with the syrup).
mreve, I agree with PP. Your CP was a real pregnancy with a real baby. I'm sorry your doctor isn't more sensitive. You have a right to feel however you want/need to about it.
How far along are you? 5 weeks
How big is baby? Appleseed
Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, just one last beta on Friday before my ultrasound on the 1st.
Any new symptoms or changes? Just bloat, cramps and nausea-which I've had for over a week.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm getting betas every 48 hours (with the last one on Friday) since I'm on crinone gel. The doubling times have been really good (in the 30's) up until today, which was down to 50 hours. I know that times slow as hcg increases, but an 11 hour jump in two days has me a little worried.
GTKY: Favorite beverage (with or without alcohol)? Milk, always milk.

teachermomtobe, I've been having them every 48 hours since the 7th. I just got today's drawn after 5, so my OB's office is closed. I've totally (unwisely) been going down the google rabbit hole tonight. Thanks for the reassurance and the links, I'm definitely going to check them out! I've been using beta base, which is another good one, but it doesn't really give any specific information on how fast is normal for doubling time to decrease-probably because there's such a wide range. The doubling time has been dropping about 2 hours every 48 hours up until this point, except for one random draw where it got faster and then slowed back down the next draw. I'm looking forward to my first ultrasound, which will hopefully help ease the nerves a little.

I can understand the fear. What helped me was knowing it really only needs to double by .6 every 48 hours and anything between 48 and 72 hours isn't fine. Hoping the same for you!!

How far along are you? 6 weeks
How big is baby? blueberry
Upcoming appointments this week? We had an ultrasound yesterday where we got to see the heartbeat flickering. No appts until 11/4
Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea in the mornings like whoa. I need to eat protein every 1-2 hours from when I wake up at 6am until around 10:30 or else I feel weak and dizzy but around 10:30 it magically goes away.
Rants/Raves/Questions? So relieved that so far everything is going as it should be and thankful that my blah feeling goes away by mid-morning every day.
GTKY: Favorite beverage (with or without alcohol)? I love wine and beer but I'm not even missing it during pregnancy. The idea of it is kind of gross to me right now. I love water. Man I'm so lame.

How far along are you? 8 weeks
How big is baby? A raspberry
Upcoming appointments this week? Had an amazing ultrasound on Tuesday where we saw the bean and saw an amazing heartbeat (which did nothing to ease my PGAL brain) Any new symptoms or changes? I'm pretty sassy, although it might be the extreme fatigue, I wish today was Friday Rants/Raves/Questions? At our u/s we received confirmation that I did have OHSS and my ovaries are still huge. This is after an extra week off work, trouble breathing , extreme pain and being told by the nurses at the clinic that I "wasn't a risk for OHSS". Glad to be feeling better now
GTKY: Favorite beverage (with or without alcohol)? I love love love tea (especially herbal and white tea). I am extremely (and probably unnecessarily) cautious this pregnancy so I've cut out all tea (due to lack of evidence on how they impact pregnancy). I actually don't consume caffiene at all (don't like coffee, black tea, or pop- maybe that should be my UO)
Me: 29 DH: 35 NTNP since May 2013 charting since June 2014 dx: Graves disease (radioactive iodine), Crohns disease (abdominal surgeries) MMC October 2015 (9 weeks) Severe MFI diagnosis July 2015

How far along: 7 weeks
Baby is size of: Michra Chameleon
Upcoming appt: not till 11/8
New symptoms: dry heaving/gagging and stomach still feeling uneasy a lot. Headaches. Both seem to increase in the afternoon! I swear I didn't feel this bad with DS. I was planning on decreasing coffee intake but gosh I can't even handle a sip of my Dunkin Donuts iced coffee. I'm sure that's contributing to my general bitchiness.
Rants/Raves: DH travels for work and he is gone all next week. I can usually handle it but the thought of feeling shitty and being responsible for a 2.5 year old alone makes me want to cry. And I even have thurs, Friday off. Still want to cry.
GTKY: I love beer. A place near me comes out with their watermelon ale in June each year. Already looking forward to it.
Upcoming appointments this week? Today! Sono in 3 hours. So dang nervous.
Any new symptoms or changes? Puked today in the shower. Brushing my teeth just sends me spiraling. I remember this from DD...brush teeth in shower, puke some bile, wash hair, shave legs. Ugh. I need to eat some crackers or something before I get out of bed.
Rants/Raves/Questions? So ready to see this little nugget on sono today. Praying everything is a-ok in there. My pregnancy apps on my phone are telling me the heart should be beating so that is really getting my hopes up.
GTKY: Favorite beverage (with or without alcohol)? All the chardonnay. I miss it terribly.

cheezee - I remember that sequence from my last pregnancy. Nothing ever made it better for me, it was more a gag reflex than nausea. DS hit send before I was done. I also wanted to say that I hope your scan goes well today!
Upcoming appointments this week? None, Nov 4th will be my first.
Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea is still the most significant and problematic symptom. I can't wait until the 2nd trimester when this goes away.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Well I'm breastfeeding and DD is getting her top teeth (finally) while the nipple sensitivity is on another level. I don't want anything to brush against my nipples let alone clamp on. ::sigh:: Did I say I was looking forward to next trimester?
Anyway, I'm loving reading all the good news from the appointments!
GTKY: Favorite beverage (with or without alcohol)? Lemonade!

How far along are you? 6 weeks
How big is baby? A ladybug
Upcoming appointments this week? Nope
Any new symptoms or changes? My only symptoms are sore boobs and falling asleep around 8:00 on the couch. I think my food aversions started around week 8 last time, so that will probably be my next symptom.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I had to tell some people at work already because my job involves bacteria. A couple of men 5-10 years younger than me are very concerned that I'm eating enough and not working too hard. It's sweet, but has the potential to get annoying.
GTKY: Favorite beverage (with or without alcohol)? Most days I only drink water. For alcohol, I like wine and margaritas. For non-alcoholic, I like iced tea and root beer floats.
