Looking for some advice some some BTDT moms of winter babies. LO1 was a June baby so never bothered with a car seat cover for her. This time I'm due in February with twins so I'll have them in January. Are the JJ Cole car seat covers worth it or just use a blanket to cover babies? TIA!
Edit to add- I live in the Midwest so temps do get colder...

We didn't do a car seat cover for LO. Just a blanket for him. I wasn't a huge fan of the car seat covers because I always wanted to see his little face.

We just did blankets. I was gifted a LL Bean bunting to use on her in the stroller which turned out to be nice to have but I wouldn't have bought it on my own.
We used a JJ Cole car seat cover. It gets really cold here and we don't have a garage, so it definitely came in handy. We also used it a lot on winter walks, but I wouldn't consider it a necessity. Congrats on your winter baby
I'm in New England and the winter LO was born was the one when we got over 100 feet of snow lol so yes it was COLD! For the early months (0-3 maybe) I would keep the carseat in the house so it'd be warm, make sure he wore layers and a hat, and would just use a thick blanket over him once the straps were buckled. In the late winter/early spring it was still pretty frigid so I decided to go for the BundleMe. I really liked it and it is super warm (sometimes he would even be a little sweaty in it), plus it's fantastic for the stroller.
