This be the first full week of school in a while. I know I shouldn't complain since we did have a bunch of days off, but I am. I just want one more hour of sleep. And it would be nice if the coffee kicked in sometime soon.

My husband has to be at work at 5:30 am local time and we are down to one vehicle. I am trying to get back into the office after having a cold all week last week. Ugh I'm getting a coffee from Starbucks, just gotta.

Hi, new member, welcome. So I see you are pregnant due in December and assumedly have a June 15 LO too? Anything else you want to share with us?
Team not excited about Monday over here. We had a great weekend again, a nice mix of knocking things off the to-do list and having relaxing family time. Time has been moving way to fast lately. MIL made the comment over the weekend that DS is 16 months old. I literally had to stop myself from correcting her, because, yes, actually he is. Slow down, time!

We had a pretty fabulous weekend involving lots of pumpkin patches and some good food!
Someone on FB posted this pic and I about died. Where the heck did 2016 go?
@badwolf321 it's supposed to be 86 here today too. Sorry about your air conditioner:(. DH vetoed us turning on our air again since it's supposed to drop down to 70's tomorrow. Womp womp.
Hugs, Widget123. H and I are very similar in that - during the week we rarely fight, since we're so ingrained in our routines, and by the time we can sit and really spend time together once DS is in bed, we're too exhausted to fight! So when the weekend comes and we're spending more time together, it seems any little annoyances from the week bubble up. Hope everything smooths over soon!
mrsmonogrammed, My H mentioned wanting to turn on the air yesterday since today and tomorrow are supposed to be around 80. I conveniently "forgot" when leaving the house. It's mid October in Michigan. It'll be cold in a day or two again, why use the air? Plus, it does cool down more/faster at night now than in the summer, so I just don't see the point.
Hugs Widget123 , I can only imagine the buildup that can happen with working together while married.
We don't work very close together, it is just more so that we both have so much going on and I am more lax about keeping up with the cleaning during the work week, am usually the one buying stuff for the kids, etc.  IMO he needs to take a chill pill instead of fretting about every little thing.Â
Lol, are we married to the same man? And my H will bottle up whatever he's annoyed about and then be pissy for no reason. Drives me crazy!

jillywilly I know, I couldn't believe that I was even having the conversation. 86 in October in Chicago?! Who would have thought. I only voted yes because I like it extra cold at night and our room is the hottest in the house- faces the sunset and retains heat like crazy! It's a good "problem" to have in the winter though;)

Bleh to Mondays. The problem with having such busy weekends is I'm up late a Sunday nights getting ready for the week. So I'm extra tired Mondays which compounds the suckiness of them.
My mom is watching BH today and already called me freaking out yesterday that I need to leave her a list of activities to do with him. Should be an...interesting...day.

List to mom-
1. Play outside 2. Eat lunch 3. Nap 4. Snack 5. Play outside
That should about take care of it, no? ETA- this would be DD's ideal day. Especially if you put water in her sand/water table;)

I'm actually excited to be back in the office today. Had a bad cold last week and worked from home until finally just calling in sick on Friday. Now, gotta catch up on my work then head home to a clean house. I love having house cleaners come ever other week.
Hi all! I'm tired. Nice to be back in our own bed last night even if it was only 2 nights away. Buuut still looking forward to packing up again and really taking off this weekend!
Otherwise a pretty normal week ahead scheduled here! One of my best friends found out she's pregnant this weekend! We have a "take a pic of the pee stick and show each other first" kind of relationship haha! Last time she got pregnant the baby fever hit me hard and DD was born a month after hers..I still plan on waiting until at least next year though but I may have found myself lurking the baby names board last night anyway 🙊
