tmclawchick that's really weird about your friend. I would never try to invite myself along on someone else's trip wtf?!
To be honest I'm glad everyone is seeing it my way here. I kept wondering if I was being too weird about it but I'd never invite myself along on someone's trip like that...and to do it multiple times is just odd!! Gah!

I had a friend do this a few months ago and it really threw me off. I was talking about going out with a friend to a movie and she was just "I would love to go." Apparently we're no longer allowed to talk about plans with people who are not invited. It wasn't a big deal if she came along but it was such a weird interaction. Maybe it's because I'm the type where you can talk about an event and unless you explicitly invite me I will not think I'm invited. Just talking about it around me does not make me think I'm invited.
Like there is a level of event I'll invite myself to. If packmomma said she was taking W to the park, I might ask if she'd like me and M to join her. But that was a totally different level tmclawchick.

Yeah but if I said no you wouldn't be all pouty about it.
We just took a walk after the dog woke w up from his nap. I was listening to 538 talk about trump's bs right when I passed a house with a trump sign. I didn't realize we had any in the neighborhood. Oops. W had a meltdown mid walk but the dog is happy. Also why is it still 80 degrees in October! ?

It's not just you. That is super weird, especially since she's asked about it multiple times even though you were clear from the start that it was a family trip. And the fact that she's now annoyed about it is just ridiculous.
This is me the for the last hour. Except a little less creepy I even wore him on my back while I walked around the house trying to get him to fall asleep that way. No dice.

My battle with social services is finally coming to an end! I've been trying for MONTHS to get them to fix my medicaid case so that Jack can have insurance. No one answers their phones, the mailbox is always full, if I went in to the office it was always "no the director isn't here let me take a message for you." So I got in contact with the director of the State Department of Social Services yesterday. The big head honcho. It's amazing how quickly things get fixed when you talk to the boss's boss. I just got a call saying that my case was being worked on and should be fixed by tomorrow. FINALLY.
H is out doing a team building type thing tonight (bowling) so I'm home alone tonight. Planning on making myself a drink and watching the debates. Or maybe project runway.

Our plan is to watch the debate with drinks too. Made a Big Mac and cheese casserole.
