So uh, my boobs started leaking during my tennis match today? It wasn't a lot but I could definitely notice. I wasn't really prepared for that to be happening at this point
Do you have any breast pads? You may want to put them on before tennis. My mom told me she was an early leaker and had to wear them all the time.

I'm pretty sure I got some samples in the Amazon registry box that I need to dig out but I'll definitely be ordering a full pack asap. I am hoping this is a good sign for breastfeeding since I had a reduction a couple years ago and wasn't sure if I'd be able to
Hopefully! I know someone who was able to breastfeed after reduction.

Today was actually kind of busy at work and then I had to do the whole "feed the family" thing. I got a game plan for a gender reveal figured out. SIL is off work the day of the scheduled ultrasound so she is going to get a box of balloons in the appropriate color for us to do a reveal that evening. I'm excited!
I started telling coworkers today! I got a lot of hugs and congrats. It was nice. I'm still scared to tell students but I'm sure now that staff knows that it will get out soon enough. I'm planning on telling kids around Halloween, so only a couple weeks until I can embrace le bump.
In other news, a little one whose arms are at the height of my ute gave me a bear hug today and it hurt so so bad I felt all crampy for like 10 minutes.
I feel you on the young ones giving out uncomfortable hugs. I have had to intercept their arms now to avoid getting squeezed unnecessarily, or turn to the side with one arm protecting the bump.
Yay for telling coworkers! I am so happy that things went well
I just realized I haven't been posting much lately, sorry! Our new couch for the basement got delivered today and it's AMAZING (although it WREAKED of skunk....weed?...for hours, making me wonder what the delivery guys were doing this morning. I don't care, just don't stink up our new couch!). The basement is quickly turning into our favorite room. We haven't let the dogs downstairs with us yet, and I must say, the dog hair free space is SO nice!
My diet today consisted of pancakes w/ fruit and turkey bacon for bfast #1, a DD bagel w/ cc for bfast #2, about a dozen munchkins for lunch, and lasagna for dinner. Weeks 16-20 I magically gained 10lbs with DD so I've been trying to not do that this time..but it looks like my appetite just comes back full force at the 16-17 week mark. Ah, well.
Sorry about the move situation @amc25. I feel your pain, we are due to move to a new posting shortly before or shortly after this baby is born. Best case scenario is likely moving with a 6 week old. Last time we moved with an 8 week old. Since it's training dependent I'm hoping for a few more bad weather days to delay training enough so I can at least know I'm having this baby here. I hope it all works out for you in the end!
