The October BMB is bursting with beautiful babies! It's so exciting there right now!
Nathan is 4 weeks tomorrow. He's already getting so big. He's still very sleepy, but he is is starting to get a little more wakeful during the day... meaning once or twice a day he might stay awake for a couple of hours or so. I just wish he'd starting sleeping more than 2 hours a stretch at night. His big sisters slept really well at night from the start, so this "normal" newborn behavior is new to us, and we're too old for this getting up every couple of hours! LOL
Here's a picture from Sunday. I love this boy so much. Save

I do have an outside baby! Garrett was born on Friday after I was diagnosed with preeclampsia. He was 7 pounds even and 20 inches long. We came home today, and are trying to figure out our new normal as a family of 4. First pic of G
teraiin, look how high he's holding his head up!! FX for the weight check tomorrow!
Thanks! Yes he was soooo reluctant to lift his head I was getting worried but now that he realizes he can see things so much better he loves lifting his head! 😄
In case you missed it; Team Green turned Blue on 10/14 when Isaac James arrived at 4:03pm. He weighed 6lbs, 14oz and was 20 inches long. I was sent to L&D from my routine prenatal appt at 37w6d for high blood pressure and labs that were indicating pre-e/HELLP syndrome. LO required CPAP to help him breathe after birth, but was able to be discharged from NICU a little over 24 hours later. We came home yesterday, but I'm still having issues with swelling and high blood pressures so my OB is following closely. And now for pics...I know they're huge, all the sorries.

Congrats again britta! I had no BP issues prior to delivery, so your timeline may be different but I had bad swelling and post-partum high BP and it took about 2 weeks for the swelling to completely go away and for my BP to return to normal. I drank a lot of cranberry juice and lemon water since they're both natural diuretics to help things along.

Hi pregnants! R is 5 weeks old today and got a clean bill of health at his 1 month check-up today. He's gaining weight a bit slower than the 1 oz a day ideal our peds office uses, but he's not too far behind and he is gaining so dr wasn't worried.
I can't believe he's already over a month old! We've started getting smiles in response to me or MH talking to him and he's been starting to coo too - both of which are adorable.
Here's a pic of him and my dog cuddling and a bath pic from this morning! PDQ

Hey guys! Finn and Evie are 4 months old now (wut!!!) and so alert and happy. They love sitting up and playing, and hate tummy time. Hitting the 4month slew regression but still only having one wake up, if that.
We had their dedication at church Sunday and they looked adorable.
DD is almost 19 months old and DS is 3 weeks. DD loves her brother and it is so cute. She likes to give him kisses and bring me his bottle.
I'm feeling okay. Some mild, occasional pain from the CS and sometimes feeling overwhelmed when both kids need me at the same time, but doing well. I wish DS would sleep better but I know he's super young still.

R will be 6 weeks old on Thursday. I feel like we're finally finding our groove. He's starting to wake up to the world and is smiling at myself, H and DS. Finally got R to sleep in his crib. On a good night he'll snooze 3-4 hours at a time and after a diaper change/feeding he's back down again. Then we have bad nights where he has crazy gas (like tonight!) I have two weeks left of maternity leave. I feel like I have so much to do before I go back to work.
