So mine are almost 12 months and we keep our bedtime routine pretty short at the recommendation of a former pediatrician who had twins: she said a routine was important but keeping it simple was key with twins, because if you can't do it everyday it won't work. So we still do a bottle, but it's bottle, brush teeth, then turn on white noise & soothing projector, pacis, diaper changes and bed. We removed bathtime from their routine a long time ago because a) their skin can't tolerate daily baths and b) it's really hard for me to pull of a soothing bath time when I'm alone. We read books during the day and as soon as they start sitting through them we'll add them into our routine.

I'm solo most nights for bedtime. Just finished with bottles recently. We do diapers/pjs and then I plop them in their cribs and I read to them from there. Then DD1 will usually sing to them and do a little dance performance, then we turn on the white noise, lights off, hugs and kisses, and they are (knock on wood) great about putting themselves to sleep.
We keep it pretty simple too.We do milk in their sippys downstairs before we come up for bedtime routine. And no more bath at bedtime every night. I have an almost 4 yr old that helps pick the book for the night while DH and I do diapers/jammies. Then we have a double sized rocker that we all sit in (older son on the arm of it because it's not that big, ha!) and read the story. After that my older son turns out the light, we put them in sleep sacks and wind up their singing toys, say night night and out we go. When DH is traveling, I sit in the floor and read to them. Sometimes they look at their own book or crawl around a bit so it's not a peaceful but still works out fine.
