1. Where are you from? (general area promise I won't lurk your bushes!) Have you always lived there? Own a home, renting, or looking to buy?

New England. Born and raised! Currently renting a house but it's not ideal. Needs a lot of updating. Have been looking to buy for a while but we are in a high COL area 😩


2. Are you single, married, divorced, have a SO? How long have you been together?

Married to DH for 5 years been together 8. Have been through a lot of shit lately and currently working toward a better place. Life with a newborn was rough to say the least!


3. How many LO's do you have? How old are they (if more than J15) Boy/Girl/twins?

Just DD who will be 2 in December. We used to be firmly OAD but have been starting the conversation of possibly trying when she is either three or four. However I will be AMA at that point so who knows....


4. Are you KU, TTC, or OAD?

See above. OAD due to finances, relationship issues and rough newborn phase. Cannot imagine being KU or have a newborn with a crazy ass toddler!


5. What do you do for a living? SAHM, WM, WAHM or combination? Do you enjoy it?

I'm a WM and do Medicaid billing for a nursing home. Been there 7 years. It's ok. It's flexible with good benefits and sometimes I'm able to WFH. DD has been in DC since 18 weeks. At first part time and now she goes full time.


6. What's something LO has done lately that is funny or melted your heart?

DD said the saddest thing yesterday on the drive home from DC. She said she was crying for me at "school" I asked her if she missed me and if that's why she was crying and she said "yes" 😓 Cue tears and mommy guilt 😥 She has also been saying that she loves me ☺️


7. If you could move anywhere where would it be and why?

Hawaii for sure! Been there three times and the weather is absolutely perfect all year round! Really expensive though 😩


8. What are you looking forward to?

Christmas! Not for the craziness of shopping and all the stress but we always go and visit DH's family. This year I was able to get 12/22-12/27 off from work! Really excited for a mini vacay


9. What do you like to do in your free time (if any lol) sports, hobbies, activities?

Ha! Free time what?! Usually weather permitting me and DD will go to the park (which she is obsessed with) or go for walks. I really need to up my fitness game! So out of shape!

Currently living in the Boston area. We rent our house, hoping to buy something in 2018 maybe. I am originally from NJ but have been living in MA since I moved up here for law school 8+ years ago.

Married! We just celebrated 5 years last weekend We've been together for 7.5.

3. How many LO's do you have? How old are they (if more than J15) Boy/Girl/twins?
Just my J'15 baby boy for now (born 1/8).

Expecting our second in +/- 5 weeks!!

5. What do you do for a living? SAHM, WM, WAHM or combination? Do you enjoy it?
I work full-time as an attorney (litigation). I just started with a new firm in August actually. I love it but it is exhausting (especially at 8 months pregnant).

6. What's something LO has done lately that is funny or melted your heart?
Last night at bedtime LO said "I love you" to me for the first time!!!

7. If you could move anywhere where would it be and why?
I like where I live, though before I met DH I always thought I'd go back to live in NJ or in NYC. I'd still go back (though H would never stand for it).

8. What are you looking forward to?
Maternity leave! I am so over work at this point. I just want to eat, nap, and nest in between meals and naps.

9. What do you like to do in your free time (if any lol) sports, hobbies, activities?
Don't have a ton of free time but what I do have, I like spending with LO. I'm introducing him to some of my hobbies like cooking and baking. I also love to be active (yoga, Zumba, running, HIIT workouts [think CrossFit but not culty]) and be outdoors. I am SO excited to get back into running, hopefully next spring. And I spend a LOT of time on the interwebs these days (here and also my FB mama groups).

We looked this past spring to move into something with more space, but the market was awful for buyers so we have up for the time being.

2. Are you single, married, divorced, have a SO? How long have you been together? Married for 5 years, together for 8.5 years.

3. How many LO's do you have? How old are they (if more than J15) Boy/Girl/twins? Just my little J15 man.

4. Are you KU, TTC, or OAD? On the fence, but leaning towards maybe TTC this summer.

5. What do you do for a living? SAHM, WM, WAHM or combination? Do you enjoy it? SAHM. I taught preschool before and miss it dearly, but the majority of my salary would have gone towards childcare. I love being home with lo. (Most days.)

6. What's something LO has done lately that is funny or melted your heart? He randomly decides certain words are hilarious and does this deep belly laugh when he hears them. A month ago it was "groovy." Last night he decides "poofy" was the funniest word ever.

7. If you could move anywhere where would it be and why? I love my mitten state because it's where dh and I were both born and raised. Most of our family is still here too. If we had to move, I'd pick Colorado because of the mountains.

8. What are you looking forward to? The holidays coming up: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas.

9. What do you like to do in your free time (if any lol) sports, hobbies, activities? Love being outside and active. I swim, ski, bike, occasionally run and so yoga. I love to read and need to make more time for it. I

I'm from Virginia. Currently stationed in sunny San Diego. We just bought a house this past spring.

1 LO. DD will be 2 on Jan 1st

I'm a WM. I love loveeee my job. I'm a Navy nurse, Specifically pediatrics. Currently halfway through my masters program.

6. What's something LO has done lately that is funny or melted your heart?
She has figured out that we can hear her over the baby monitor. So she will yell gibberish at it it very directly and point until we come get her from her crib. It's pretty hysterical.

7. If you could move anywhere where would it be and why?
DH and I talk about buying a house and retiring to the Caribbean all the time. Somewhere like Costa Rica for the surf.

8. What are you looking forward to?
I am counting down the days until Christmas break. Back to back Spring/Summer/Fall semesters has exhausted me and the break will be SO APPRECIATED.

HAHAHAHA. Free time is basically non existent.

But when it did exist. I like working out. I LOVE reading non-academic books. And working on crafty projects for my etsy shop. And gardening.

4. KU due 12/01/16 with another boy. This is my 7th pregnancy, lots of hardships. And I'll be 41 when this baby is born. So, that'll be it for us.

5. Sr Financial Analyst for large corp. I used to focus on being a career gal and putting in overtime. Now I'd like less stress and shorter (8hr) dys so I can go home and enjoy my family.

6. It's warms my heart to hear him use phrases correctly. Current one is "nothing's (or no one) there". And it cracks me up that he mimics me fixing the bed sheets before bedtime incl mumbling "ay papa"...cause it's his fault you know.

7. Nope. My entire family is here and I love Chicago. No tornados, hurricanes or threat of earthquakes.

8. Looking fwd to meeting baby#2, seeing Leo take in Christmas festivities this year plus 3 months of maternity leave!

9. Used to be baking. But not much time for that these days. Love to make time for quality family time, our little one and then my own family.

Colorado here! DH is born and raised in the same town. I moved a lot as a kid. DH and I did live in Portland, OR for 2.5 years, recently moved back to CO.
We are currently in the process of buying our first home. Right now, we're staying with my in-laws and we've taken over the basement. It's like our own 2 bed, 1 bath (shared laundry and kitchen) apartment

2. Are you single, married, divorced, have a SO? How long have you been together?
Married for 3 years, been together for 9 years, known each other for almost `7 years. We dated in HS, broke up, reunited 7 years later and the rest is history. As I like to say, we spent our stupid years apart learning who we were, only to come back together as better people. My BFF/"brother from another mother" had a hand in both occasions.


3. How many LO's do you have? How old are they (if more than J15) Boy/Girl/twins?
We only have the one so far, expecting another one!

4. Are you KU, TTC, or OAD?
Currently KU. I'm actually not a fan of it. I do not glow; I break out like a teenager before prom. Not cool, hormones.


5. What do you do for a living? SAHM, WM, WAHM or combination? Do you enjoy it?
I'm a SAHM. I do, and I don't. I love being able to watch her grow and learn every day, but I feel like I'm not contributing enough to the family. Nevermind that I'm dealing with a toddler while pregnant, cook, clean, and dealing with all the bills and this house buying thing. I'm weird.


6. What's something LO has done lately that is funny or melted your heart?
I know this is crazy, but I got nauseous yesterday, and she came into the bathroom and patted my back. It was so cute. She knows I don't feel well and will come up to be and just hug, no reason. *sigh*


7. If you could move anywhere where would it be and why?
I'm not sure. I love England. I want to be near friends and family, so where ever they are.


8. What are you looking forward to?
Thanksgiving and Christmas. My favorite holiday is Halloween, but I'm not decorating this year. It will be the first Thanksgiving AND Christmas in many years we will all be together, in the same town. It will be wonderful. (We usually go to DH's aunt's house in south CO, which requires going over a dangerous pass in winter. Not cool.)

9. What do you like to do in your free time (if any lol) sports, hobbies, activities?
DH and I both play ice hockey. Well, we did. My season just started, but I can't play due to pregnancy. DH is currently recovering from knee surgery. He got hit in a game (he plays in a summer league), and tore his MCL, torn miniscus, bone bruises, and ACL gone. We both plan on playing next season

raven sometimes I feel the same way about staying at home! DH will look at me like I'm crazy and be like.... "you accomplished x,y,z during the day WHILE wrangling a toddler. I don't know how you do it."
