What grounds did they deny it on ampaints? You didn't voluntarily leave your former job nor will they hire you back. I hated the government at times for this reason! Deny the people who actually deserve it and follow the rules but give it to the ones who work the system. Ugh. I would definitely appeal.
W's got the lowest grade fever ever (100) but it's turning him into a butt head just like his daddy when he has a fever. Boy colds suck. I did the quickest night time routine and put him down. Hopefully H gets home soon so I can get a drink.
@janetheconquerer they denied it because I had made loan goals in the past so it was my fault for not making them now. I'm going to appeal on the grounds of changed levels of goal and increased number of staff. But mostly in going to hope for good news when I call to follow up on the job tomorrow.
I'm hoping that N sleeps through the night tonight and there isn't a repeat of a 1.5 hour scream fest. I turned on the heat and gave him som Motrin.
Oh, I put in an application to get pre approved for a mortgage today. We were planning on doing it in the spring but I spiraled on Zillow and here we are. It probably won't happen but we are in the process.

My H was feeling like Popeyes for dinner. Our closest one is about 20 mins away. He just called me that the line is too long, he's coming back and going to KFC. I'm never getting to eat dinner tonight...
So do any of you ladies have the Itsy Bitsy Pumpkin book? It is really cute and Abigail loves to read it and point out the pumpkin on the pages. Well, I bought her a tiny pumpkin at the grocery store this week and she was really excited about it when I showed it to her. She then proceeded to walk around with it and constantly drop it on the floor, over and over again, or drop it so it would roll across the room. I was puzzled, and kept thinking, WTF is she doing with this pumpkin??
Then it hit me, her main exposure to pumpkins has been in the Itsy Bitsy Pumpkin book where the pumpkin rolls down a spooky street, bounces away, etc... THAT'S what she thinks you do with pumpkins, lol. I seriously cannot stop laughing about this now that I've realized!
aydee, I've never read that book, but that is so adorable!
I bought A one of those little pumpkins but she wants nothing to do with it. If she finds it near her she just says "all done" and hands it to me to put away.
I'm taking all 3 kids by myself tomorrow to get flu shots. DH always came with me in the past when the twins had to get shots so we could each comfort a kid but he's super busy and about to leave on a trip. This is also the first year that the kids understand what's happening.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit scared for tomorrow morning. I hope the kids cooperate. I'm worried it's going to be a total shitshow. We're going to watch the Daniel Tiger episode in the morning about getting shots and then hope for the best. And I'll probably let Ava dress up in her Doc McStuffins stuff when we go in the hopes that that will help!
Speaking of that, "all done" is by far A's favorite phrase. She uses it on repeat to stop reading books after a few pages, or to stop me from singing a song to her, or when she doesn't want her diaper changed. Sometimes I get "all done'd" 5 times in a row before I find a song or book she actually wants to hear.
aydee, I did flu shots with both kids solo. We did C first and let him cry and walk back and forth while I held A for hers. I walked out a side door with 2 kids crying bloody murder. Its freaking hard to do by yourself.
I wish you nothing but the most luck and few tears. 3 kids solo deserves an award tonight.
