It's spirit week at Leo's DC. Today is career day. I went with businessman. That's a calculator on his vest. I was so happy he didn't fight the shirt or vest.

Tired Monday is right! Lots of laundry and dishes to do. Jam packed weekends are fun, but I'm looking forward to a weekend when we don't have any plans. I think the next weekend we have zero plans is in December.

Did a little craft with lo today- stained glass pumpkins. Tissue paper and clear contact paper- lo loved it. Especially throwing the pieces around afterwards.

My toddler is a freaking psycho and I have no idea what I'm doing lol.

She refuses to wear a diaper. Like rips it off every chance she gets.
But then freaks out when she needs to go. Like hysterically screaming and wants you to put the diaper back on her.
And then she peed on herself just not because I didn't put her diaper back on her and it was a complete meltdown.

And she loves to sit on her potty but she will not go on it.

How to you get them to pee on the potty?? Like I know she can hold it. But I can't get her to go.

Yep, that's a good question. 

Fyi, Leo started pulling his pants down this weekend. And he pulls them down under his butt and walks around like that. Today he's wearing buttoned pants but I'm nervous of what he'll do at DC with his usual joggers on.

ashlantic , you're so good with arts and crafts. I attempt to do it with Leo but really ends up he hates it or I get frustrated with the mess and give up.  Our library has a sensory class, something they can get dirty with. I'm going to take him next time and see how he likes it.

No car for me today, so LO and I went for a walk. Of course, that's when every one calls me. DH called and started asking me for "favors" while out. (call this person, email this person back, call this other person, did you check out the report?, can you look through my stuff for this one number I need?) I told him to email or text me a "honey-do" list if it was that important, but that I would probably forget everything he said by the time I got home. And I did, I just remembered something he asked me to do lol. I get I'm a SAHM, but come on dude. I'm not your secretary, or your personal assistant. I don't get paid enough to deal with that shiz.
Making pot roast tonight to watch the Broncos game. I've tried making it different ways over the years, but DH won't budge. He claims his recipe is the best and nothing comes remotely close. Fine, it's simple and delicious.
Also, DH and I love TWD (The Walking Dead) and are waiting to watch it together tonight. Avoiding spoilers is hard today! The Great British Baking Show is helping right now.

raven, agh, my CW once said I was DH's secretary since I married him. I had complained that he kept asking me to do stuff esp last minute and mumbled something like "what does he think I am, his secretary".  I'm not sure I mentioned that incident on here but she's the CW that says a lot of dumb stuff.

I've got a couple days full of studying. Midterm tomorrow & quiz Wednesday so that's where I'm at.

Ugh, I'm not happy with the inspection report on the new house. The two high points for me (deck and AC) need replacing within the next year. Inspector suggested tearing down entire deck and "having it built correctly". Oh my. DH doesn't want to start over house hunting and just take it as is; I want things fixed. I have no problem continuing house hunting to make sure we get what we want. Grr. I hate adulting.

ourcrazynavylife I have no advice, but that sounds rough. I offer hugs and doughnuts instead. Fx your LLR party sells a lot so you get lots of free clothes! My yoga studio is hosting one next month and I'm so excited.
littlelion thanks! Pinterest helps a lot. I recycle a lot of my crafts from when I taught and make them simpler for lo.
raven Dh made the mistake of (jokingly) calling me his secretary once. It hasn't happened again. Lol Just because I SAH doesn't mean I have time to do all your shit too! And home buying is such a stressful process. Hope you can find something that you love!

So a debate currently going on in my house: when to move lo to a toddler bed. My friend had their lo in a toddler bed so now dh is all gung ho about making the switch and I'm over here like, he's happy in his crib, why ruin a good thing? Has anybody made the switch yet? Is there a good time to do it?

Nooooo don't do it! I'm team keep them in crib as long as possible. Sleep sack on backwards here for our J15 guy. We've made it past 2.5 yrs old with the 2 oldest.
