MIL took K for a few hours before she had to leave for her interview so I got a little more sleep. But now I'm irritated because she keeps putting her on her stomach on a memory foam pillow to get her to sleep.
I mean, it works, but I don't want her getting used to that at this age, and I really dislike the idea of her being on her stomach unless closely watched. I know it's how they used to out kids to sleep all the time, but it makes me paranoid.
singingsea same as @snuff9861 for some weird reason both of my kiddos could hold their heads up at birth. I caught a pic of it in the hospital, I called her a little meerkat.
pippacricket that's rough - when it rains it pours. after a bath recently, the baby projectile pooped all over the floor and then my dog ate it...and then puked it all up. fun times!
annapunkalunka I'm another one who has dry and very thick / textured hair and I only wash it once or twice a week at most. I do use dry shampoo if I have straightened it bc the grease tends to be more obvious.
We had our one month appt today! It was great and my girl is up to 10lbs 3oz!
jennybeans now I can wear it down for 3 days and then up in a ponytail or bun. But before I could only wear it down for 1-2 days and up for 2 days. I never had to use the dry shampoos. Mainly I didn't want my hair getting use to the dry shampoos
Both appointments went good and both kids got shots. E is at 10lbs 10oz she fell asleep about 2 minutes after the shots poor thing. And DS was such a trooper getting his blood pressure read and doing his eye exam. So proud of him. He was rewarded with Mexican food after lol
R is starting to hold his head upright on his own We just noticed it yesterday. Anyone else's baby starting to do this?
When I have R sitting on my lap he can hold his head up pretty well. Better than I'd expect this early. Then he barely tries to lift it during tummy time.

One good thing thats come from this gas issue is J is using his legs to push off stuff to try a relieve the pressure I guess. But hes startong to stand on his legs. He doesn't realize what he doing yet but hes doing it.
I just had the scariest breastfeeding nightmare. I napped when DD napped. In the nightmare, she ate and when she was done, my nipple came out of her mouth split in half and bleeding. I'm scared to feed her again

We took DS to the pumpkin patch today. The park has a train to ride too so he was stoked. Can't wait for all of the fun Halloween activities this weekend!

K does that too. She's seriously lazy during tummy time, but if she's in my chest she's constantly lifting her head and looking around. She's even starting to use her arms to push herself up a little.
