I'll start off with an fffc. I wore the same leggings all week. And the top today is one I wore already. Suffice to say the tide towelettes have been my bff.

Woke up to a completely inconsolable toddler. Now I'm trapped on the couch under her because she finally stopped screaming. But I need foodddddd

^^^ was finally able to get up. So now we're munching on cereal and chilling.

I've got an appt with my academic advisor in just a bit we have to go to.

Went for a walk with LO again this morning. It's a great way to tucker her out right before nap time. It's also a great excuse to walk to the closest coffee place (about 10 blocks away) and get me a latte! We stopped at the playground again, and ran into two moms with two little girls, both around LO's age! LO clung to one like glue and they went down the slide together, swung together, went down a different slide together. It's so cute to see her play with other kids. She's a hugger, too!

House hunting continues tomorrow morning. Just sent a list off to the realtor, who I'm sure is starting to think I'm difficult to work with. I'm hoping the third time's the charm, and I really find something I can see myself enjoying to years.

raven what a fun day. As for the house hunting, it's a big purchase you should get what you are happy with and not feel bad about the realtor.

Advising went fine. Such a waste of time though. Like easily could have just emailed the information or called her. But whatever.

I'm sorry. Esp since I came to say how good Leo has been doing at bedtime these last couple weeks (knock on wood). He'll actually agree or ask for bed by 7 pm.

It's tough to sleep with stuffy noses. Maybe a humidifier helps? Fx they feel better, & sleep better, soon.

littlelion thanks, we do have humidifiers going in both their rooms, it's like the rainforest in our house 😂 I know I need to be more patient but they are both exhausted and need the rest and so does mama. Hopefully they get through it quickly.

Morning! I have a baby shower later tonight so my only plan is to clean the house. Currently watching Finding Nemo. Well, leo is, I was cooking breakfast. He seems to like it. Did not care for Lion King, scared of the monkey. Ever since he saw the toy monkey in toy story 3. Don't blame him.

I should get moving.

I'm hiding in our bedroom since Saturday's are my day to "sleep in" but I have to wake up and wake my DH up because hearing Em yelling on the monitor does nothing. Useful. Lol.

Another 15k in the books this AM and now I'm studying. Weird FFSC - I like coming up to the law school to study for nursing bc it makes me feel like I'm doing something naughty.
And a mini-rant before I get back to studying - if my MIL says one more time how she's "just so sure" I'll find a position where I can use my law degree and my nursing degree together I'm going to scream. There's a reason I'm trying to go to nursing school and it's sure as shit not because I was to be some awesome nurse/lawyer combo.
Date night tonight wa hoo! Happy Saturday ladies!

I think I finally found the trick to getting my husband to help with chores. I made a honey-do list on Friday and then showed it to him. I told him to do whichever things he wants plus pick one fun thing to do for the day. I haven't had to yell once and like half my list is done.

We had family photos today and I'm in love with these two!

Family photos meant leo didn't take a nap today... he was in bed at 6:30! Hopefully he sleeps all night. He's been in a weird phase lately where he's terrified of baths, eating nothing, and sleeping almost 14 hours at a time. Not sick, no ear infections, not teething. So strange!

Finally popping in to say hi. We went out for Halloween/my friend's birthday last night so we dropped lo off at my parents' to spend the night. It was nice to have adult time! I might have been a bit over-served and even sang karaoke. By some miracle I woke up feeling great. Lo had a great time with my parents. They dote on him so much.
Today we had a couple friends over to watch the game. My team lost, but we still had fun relaxing and hanging out. We carved pumpkins with lo before dinner. He wasn't a fan of the pumpkin guts (too "juicy") but enjoyed drawing on the pumpkins and sticking the seeds all over his belly.

ourcrazynavylife lo wakes up inconsolable like that too sometimes. It's always really random and we can never figure out what sets him off. It takes him quite a while to calm down, too. He did that earlier this week after nap.
raven I don't think you're being difficult. It should be a house you love, not something you have to settle for.
nemomof2 when lo had a stuffy nose baby Vicks vaporub and boogie wipes were lifesavers. Lots of steam showers and baths to loosen things up. How are they both feeling?

ashlantic the baby shower was fun but exhausting. Leo ran around like a madman. So much so he was sweating all over even his hair got all wet.

He has 3 girl cousins about his age. And none of them are this active. I'm about to do like raven & ourcrazynavylife and buy one of those backpack harnesses.
