Anyone starting to take bump photos even though there isn't really anything there yet? If so, are you using a certain photo app to write text or use a blackboard? Same outfit each week or whatever you happen to be wearing?
Haven't started yet and probably won't until our first appointment (at 8w1d). I want to wear the same outfit, so trying to decide if I should go with a plain colored shirt and jeans so I can use a shirt I have now until it doesn't fit and then buy a maternity shirt in the same color, or use this stretchy shirred-side dress I have which might stretch enough (but I have no real idea). I might do both and then give up on the dress if it can't stretch enough.
I'll be using my DSLR and editing them in Photoshop to add text, so I'm no help on apps.
Also trying to decide if I want to hold the fruit which would be the baby's size each week. Or some other object. Thoughts?

To each their own but I found last time around that the simpler the better. My bump photos were always in front of the mirror in my bathroom in whatever outfit I was wearing that morning. I made the time to pose a shot.
I'm the laziest picture taker ever. I didn't take one every week with dd and I probably won't do it this time. I basically just took them once I looked pregnant and when I though I looked cute. I also took one the day I wend in to get induced so I could remember how huge I was.

I am also a super lazy picture taker - in pretty much all aspects of life. I have a few awful mirror selfies from last time, and one picture of me and DH that I got my mom to take.
I think it would be neat to have weekly/even monthly photos in a similar location/outfit because I love seeing the progression. It is just not who I am, unfortunately.

Yes. I think they are so cute and something I would like to have, but it's just not something I want on my plate.

This is me too, I would like to have them but so far I a remembered to do one on week 3 just for fun with our embryo pics and haven't remembered since. I can see this being something I just forget and regret later :/

It's not at all too late if it's something you want to do! I don't really see the point in a bunch a pictures before there's actually a bump, and there's still several weeks left to go before that.
I did them weekly with my son. I believe I started the day after I found out I was pregnant. They are all bathroom pictures from my neck down- I hate the way I look in pictures. I did one so far this pregnancy at 5 weeks. I plan to do them weekly again starting next week (Sunday is my weekly change over) I never added any text to them so I'm useless on the app part.
I'll start taking pics every few weeks after I feel like I actually have a bump. Right now I just feel bloated. With DD I really didn't start showing until about 22-24 weeks because I have a long torso...thinking I may pop a little sooner this time given it is #2.
