Appointments this week? OB appointment, hospital tour, massage - although I'm trying to reschedule it since I'm feeling so much better this week already, and hoping it will be more beneficial when I'm a bit closer to the end.
Symptoms? Tired, sore (although that's improving). Totally running out of steam after only running 1 or 2 errands, which really pisses me off! I have things to do!!
Rants/Raves/Questions: I got to spend some time this weekend with a couple of girls I grew up with and who really helped me get through the last few years. One of them is due a couple of months after me (after many many rounds of IVF) and the other adopted a child over the summer. Such an exciting time!!
Are you doing anything to have a healthy pregnancy? Oh man, does trying not to stress about the stretch marks count? My stomach is sore under my belly button and that's where they keep popping up... I'm also trying to keep walking and doing some back exercises/groin stretches - which have made a HUGE difference over the last week.
GTKY: What is the last baby-related thing you bought? Umm... well I just placed my amazon order last night to finish off the things we really wanted from our registry, so a bunch of things I did also buy a couple of gifts for my cousin's shower this weekend. I think I looked really pitiful in the store last night wandering around, waddling, looking for gifts for someone else, lol.

Week/Team/Fruit: 35 weeks/B/G Twins/ Carton of Eggs
Appointments this week? Friday for weekly scan
Symptoms? All the things - pelvic pain, heartburn, general hugeness
Rants/Raves/Questions: Today is my first work from home day! I am a little lonely, but so far, so good. My mobility is really decreasing so it's probably best that I stay close to home and not make the 45 minute drive into the office.
Are you doing anything to have a healthy pregnancy? Trying (and kind of failing) not to eat all the halloween candy and cookies I bought.
GTKY: What is the last baby-related thing you bought?
If our Csection goes as planned, we'll be bringing home the babies on/around thanksgiving. I bought full turkey-related outfits that are so cute. Complete with turkey booties and turkey hats. So not necessary, but whatevs.
requiressnacks thanks for the check-in! Hope you are feeling well. mrswillie I am totally with you on running out of steam after only a couple errands but having so much I want to get done!
Week/Team/Fruit: 31w4d
Appointments this week? Tomorrow for another cervical lining check.
Symptoms? Public bone pain like you wouldn't believe. I did Google it and there is an actual name for it, not that I can remember. But basically that area is stretching out too fast.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Just hoping to stay off bedrest for another week.
Are you doing anything to have a healthy pregnancy? GD kind of forces decent eating habits so there's that.
GTKY: What is the last baby-related thing you bought? I bought 2 boxes of diapers from Target last night. They have a buy 2 of certain brands get a gift card. We're stocking up on various sizes anytime Target has a good deal. I'm going to a mom's of multiples sale later this week so hopefully can score some good deals.

Week 33/Team Pink/Fruit - BIG
Appointments this week? Oh so many Today I go tour a daycare then a NST, tomorrow Baby Dr., Thursday NST, Friday Hospital Tour, Saturday 3rd Trimester class (ALL DAY)
Symptoms? pretty much sleeping on the couch so I can sit up all the time now. and BIG or at least it feels that way
Rants/Raves/Questions: Work is just an annoyance at this point that I don't want to leave early because it would take away time with my daughter.
Are you doing anything to have a healthy pregnancy? At this point survival
GTKY: What is the last baby-related thing you bought? Diaper bag

You are so cute! I needed that this morning. Positive and upbeat. I'm so glad you are feeling good. I had my sister and mom with me all weekend for my baby shower - They live in different states and when we shopped I was so exhausted and it made me mad. LOL

That is so cute!!! I'm doing the first Christmas thing. Gotta find a green tutu.
Symptoms? Baby is up in my ribs a lot with her feet(she is head down as of Friday!) so by the end of the day I have to sit pretty weird to in order to breath. I'm also getting sensory overload more too, I just need quiet at the end of the day.
Rants/Raves/Questions: My doc's office doesn't do every 2 week appointments until 36 weeks! I was kind of surprised by that since it seems like everyone on here is doing 2 weeks already. DH and I have an over-under going as to whether or not we'll actually see my doctor next time. She's either been out or sick for probably half of my appointments.
Are you doing anything to have a healthy pregnancy? I would like to do some yoga this week, we'll see. I purposely bought Halloween candy that only had one thing in it I can eat so DH will take the leftovers to work.
GTKY: What is the last baby-related thing you bought? I grabbed some diapers and wipes on my Target run yesterday, slowly trying to stock up. I did get a giftcard so pampers must be having some sort of promotion. The last big thing was the changing pad.

hang in there, dream2be3! I can commiserate with your pelvic/pubic pain. Like whoa. catherineoctober, that's a lot of appointments/classes! Hope they all go well. @cahistoryteacher, I really should have bought halloween candy I don't like/can't eat. Instead, I bought all of my favorites. Not a great plan!
Appointments this week? I'm on my weekly appointments now, so my 34 week appt is on Wed AM
Symptoms? My pelvic bone is killing me by the end of the day. It was just every now and then, but it's daily now. I'm actually surprised that it took this long for it to get this bad because it happened a lot earlier in my last pregnancies.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm so excited that it's Halloween. It's one of my favorite days of the year!
Are you doing anything to have a healthy pregnancy? Oh please. I've given up at this point.
GTKY: What is the last baby-related thing you bought? I bought a couple of stocking stuffers for Christmas for her. We're just doing a stocking for the baby, and I wouldn't even bother with that if it weren't for my other kids who would wonder why Santa didn't bring the baby anything. My BFF and her mom gave her some adorable clothes and her play mat/gym this weekend.

Week/Team/Fruit: 35weeks/Pink/bunch of carrots
Appointments this week: first of my weekly appointments starting Friday
Symptoms: my head is killing me today, likely due to my still high BP. Hoping my OB gets my labs soon and we figure out where to go from here.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm frustrated by my BP and my family's constant hovering. They mean well but they are just stressing me out more and it's making me crazy.
Are you doing anything to have a healthy pregnancy? Trying to abide by these bedrest restrictions
GTKY: What was the last baby-related thing you bought? I picked up the Diaper DekorPlus and a canvas storage bin for her closet Friday, that was really the last of what we needed.
dream2be3, hope your appointment goes well this week!
catherineoctober, gah that's a lot of appointments! Hope they all go well for you. And yeah, it totally sucks not being able to keep up! Especially with working all week and really only having the weekends to run errands + do fun things. I feel bad that we haven't really gotten out to enjoy the fall colors at all, I just have no energy left!
Lucy, ahh we need to buy a stocking for baby as well. We aren't planning on doing any gifts this year but will probably put some toys in her stocking just for funsies. Sorry about the pelvic pain, is there anything that can help with that? I haven't experienced it and now you're making me nervous
mrsp121308, sorry for the stress and the bedrest! Only a few more weeks and you'll be snuggling that baby!

Labs are back and my urine was full of protein. So I officially have preeclampsia and I'm on strict bedrest until d-day. I can get up for one shower a day and to go to the bathroom. And since my headache has gotten so bad and I'm seeing floaters, I have to go in today for monitoring.

Hugs. That sounds scary. Let us know how the appt goes. Did they talk about inducing?
Not yet they haven't, so hopefully I can do well on bedrest and at least last another 12 days to get me to 37 weeks.

Week/Team/Fruit: 32w1d, Blue, Squash..yellow squash to be exact
Appointments this week: Friday, I have my normal measuring.
Symptoms? TMI: I have the worst hemorrhoids to the point where I can't really sit or walk. My Dr told me if they don't go down by the time she sees me or get any better in the next couple of days..she will see me and might have to operate. My HB is rough..I just live with it. Cause to be honest everything gives me heartburn.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I got to see lil man on Sunday. 4D and he looks just like DD. He is so chubby and we were told that he had a head full of hair..but you know they said that about DD and she had a nice lil jumpstart but then it fell out and she looked like an 80 year old man.
Are you doing anything to have a healthy pregnancy? Working out when I can, the hemorrhoid is not making this possible right now. But I am just not indulging in food right now since the workouts have had to be put on the back burner.
GTKY: What is the last baby-related thing you bought? ....I think it was clothes..which is hilarious since I said I would not be buying anymore but somehow they seem to pop back up.
Winnifred, second me on the running out of steam at the most opportune moments. Like I get these bursts and then they just fade away and I end up on the couch. Oh I was at the grocery store and maybe I am waddling or bigger than I think, people moving out the way and looking at me like don't you need a spotter or something. Thanks people.
requiressnacks, I have that exact outfit for DD!! she wore it last year..i will search for the pic. TOTALLY cute. Our pants were brown though. 35w man you are so close...phew I am a lil envious but then again I am like...ehhhh...He can just stay in there for another good 3 months maybe. I am just not ready to take him and DD on to be honest.
dream2be3, Moms of multiple sales...ohhhh that's a thing, that is awesome! I hope you do find some new things. I hope that your pelvic pain lessens...pain is not ideal by any means.
catherineoctober, soooo your ate that point huh. LOL. Straight to point, over it, if you don't have anything beneficial to say to me "world" then just keep it to yourself. LOL!! We are getting there, its almost time.
@cahistoryteacher, OMG thank god I am not the only one!!!!!!! It drives me insane...my F'ing DR and her schedule. MARK my words I will be looking for another Dr, if they switch up my appts again!! Its always well Dr. Jones has something else or she is not going to be in the office that day and asked for us to move her schedule around. I will ask to see another one in the practice, she isn't exactly the nicest woman either. Oh man that is one thing that just grinds my gears. I have changed 4 appts in a month. DOES SHE WORK? Does she have only like 5 patients or something.
#1 - I am SO SORRY about your hemorrhoids! I didn't even know they could operate on them.... Hopefully things start to get better for you!
#2 - SO CUTE!!!! Baby looks so chill in there! Did you have an elective u/s done? I thought about doing one of those earlier on but I'm looking forward now to seeing her face for the first time in December since she was just a tiny one at 20 weeks. BUT I will admit with all of her punching and moving lately that I would really like to see WTF is going on in there...

I just did a daycare tour and got on the waiting list. That seems to be what you do here - no where has an opening mid Feb. on the way back to the office I cried and cried. Why can't cartoons be real and my dog be Jane's nanny like in Peter Pan? I know he's going to love her.

Pregnancy Hormones Suck
Why are you so sad?! When do you plan on returning to work? Big ((hugs))
If it makes you feel better, we had to secure our daycare spots way back in the 2nd tri to ensure spots for 2 infants.
